This Year’s Jersey Shore Wine Festival Expecting Biggest Turnout Yet
The 8th Annual Jersey Shore Wine Festival, presented by the Lakewood BlueClaws, is expecting its highest turnout yet after announcing its list of featured wineries participating this year.
All of those expected to participate this year are among the Garden State’s most popular wineries, including Chestnut Run Farms, DiMatteo Wnery, Monroeville Vineyard & Winery, Plagido’s Winery, Valenzano Winery, Villari Vineyards, Four Sisters and Wagonhouse Winery.
Scheduled to take place rain-or-shine from 12 noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 9 and Sunday, June 10, the Jersey Shore Wine Festival will offer samplings of delicious wines from an exciting variety of award-winning New Jersey-based wineries.
In addition to wine tastings, there will also be live entertainment from Crabdaddy Band and Tony Costa, as well as dozens of crafters, retail vendors, and food truck vendors..The annual wine festival will be held in Lakewood’s FirstEnergy Park (2 Stadium Way).
The cost to attend is $20 in advance or $25 at the gate for those over 21. Designated drivers are free. No dogs, hovercraft/hoverboards, drones, bicycles or skateboards are allowed during festival days.

All net proceeds will be donated to Sylvia’s Children, a Holmdel-based 501(c)3 organization working over the past 16 years to improve the living conditions for more than 1,000 children in the village of Mbiriizi in Uganda, Africa.
