Golden Coast Diner in Egg Harbor Township: Review
On my way down to Atlantic City my husband and I stopped for dinner at the Golden Coast Diner, which was only 2 minutes off of our route!
The diner is located right off the Garden State Parkway in Egg Harbor Township.I immediately liked the diner because of it’s exterior lights. It’s like it’s Christmas there all year round!
Inside the diner was nice, simple, and clean. They even have their own private dining room for parties!
The Golden Coast diner has a massive menu! The menu includes 34 broiled seafood specialties, 36 steak specialties, 28 dinner specials, 17 saute specials, 39 salads, and 24 specialty burgers…so if you can’t find something to eat here than you are a very picky eater.
A few tems that stood out on their menu to me included:
– The Macho Burger; hot pastrami, Swiss cheese, and coleslaw.
– Spanish Cheese Fries
– Cajun Jambalaya
– Sweet and Sour Chicken
– Stuffed Meatloaf Parm
The diner has 38 different mini meals which come with a soup or salad. My husband opted for a mini meal while I got one of the diner specials, and we both ordered chicken noodle soup.
This tasty soup was perfect for the cold I was dealing with!
Doug ordered the #8 mini meal: pineapple chicken which was served over mashed potatoes and spinach.
I ordered the #11 dinner special: Chicken Milanese served with baby arugula, Romano cheese and lemon wine sauce. It is served over angel hair pasta, but I subbed out for mashed potatoes instead. It was delicious!!!
My dinner special came with dessert options of jello, ice cream, or pudding so I got rice pudding. It was the perfect size considering how full I was.
Overall I was charmed by this diner which had great food and great service!
