Become a real-life cast member of The Walking Dead by participating in a New Jersey Zombie Walk (or bike ride, 5K, etc) for 2021! Put on your best zombie makeup and your bloody attire by attending these fun events throughout the Garden State. Points for being creative!

Asbury Park Zombie Walk

The Asbury Park Zombie Walk is celebrating its anniversary! The NJZW took has set the Guinness World Record for the “Largest gathering of zombies” two separate times. In 2010 the record was claimed with 4,093 undead counted on the Asbury Park Boardwalk. The record was later reclaimed in 2013 with 9,592 participants. Annual Asbury Park Zombie Walk holds the record for the World’s largest gathering of Zombies! Enjoy festivities & music taking place through downtown & along the boardwalk. Stomp the Monster Spooktacular Almost 4 Mile Run Run & Zombie Walk
October 16, 11AM – 3PM
100% of the proceeds will go to patients battling cancer. This unique, SPOOKTACULAR ALMOST 4-Mile Course starts on the north end of the Manasquan boardwalk, known by locals as “Sea Watch” named for the historic lifeguard station at the corner of 1st and Ocean Avenues. After a full mile of ocean views along the boardwalk, runners will find themselves hugging the historic Manasquan Inlet with full views of the river. finishing at historic Leggett’s, a Manasquan staple since 1935. If 4 miles is just too much, they will have a 2-mile walk course (start and finish are the same as the run course).! And as always the after-party continued at Leggetts Sand Bar with the endless buffet, raffles & costume prizes

Historic Smithville’s Monster Bash

That’s not the undead walking the streets of Galloway Twp.. it’s Smithville’s annual Zombie Walk! On October 23 (rain date Nov. 2) the residents of Galloway Township and the surrounding areas find their way to Smithville either in full zombie gear or ready to be painted to look like a zombie (for a small fee).

4th Annual Long Valley First Aid Squad Zombie 5k
October 30, 10AM – 11AM
Enjoy an autumn day in beautiful Long Valley! Walk, run or stroll the 5K course where zombies roam. A perfect outing for adults, students, and families – come in costume if you dare. Prizes will also be awarded for best costumes in individual and family categories. All proceeds benefit the Long Valley First Aid Squad in its mission to serve the citizens of Washington Township and help neighboring communities. Long Valley First Aid Squad has provided 60 years of all-volunteer service, 24/7 Emergency medical care, vehicle and technical rescue services are all done by our volunteers. Funds raised go primarily to equipment and training.

Zombie Apocalypse Bike Ride

Join the fun on Saturday, October 30, for a Zombie Apocalypse Bike Ride, starting at Fireman’s Field at Delaware and Raritan Canal State Park. The trip will be approximately 3.2 miles round trip to Lambertville and back. Zombie attire and/or makeup are strictly required.
