Where to Catch {Free} Movies in New Jersey in September

My favorite four letter word is free, so I love seeing free movies no matter what time of the year it is! It gives me a chance to see a movie I haven’t seen in a while, or a newer movie, on a big screen whether it’s in a park, in a downtown area, a beach, or a movie theater! Keep in mind outdoor movies are WEATHER PERMITTING so be sure to check these before heading out (and their rain dates).

Where to Catch Free Movies in New Jersey in September:

Movies in the Park, Fort Lee
Enjoy live music plus blockbuster movies under the stars at Fort Lee Community Center outdoor stage. Music starts at 7pm, followed by the movies at sunset. Rain location is inside the community center.

The Highland Park Outdoor Movie Theater Summer Movies
Kid-friendly cartoons at dusk about 45 minutes before the main feature starts. The main feature starts at 9:00 pm. Get some takeout from any one of Highland Park’s terrific restaurants, and enjoy FREE outdoor movies under the stars!

Films in Van Vorst, Jersey City
The 14th Annual Outdoor Summer film Series will again take place in Van Vorst Park on Wednesday nights. Screenings in July will begin at about 8:30 or later depending on sunset. The rain date for each film will be the following Wednesday.
