Don’t Get Mad, Get Angry Dad Brewing
Angry Dad Brewing is a New Jersey-based brewing company whose signature recipe is their Amber Ale. Located in Bloomingdale, New Jersey and brewed in Belmar, Angry Dad isn’t your normal craft brewery.
When they launched in May of 2019, their beer was only available on draft and first popped up at a few local spots like Tavern 5 in Pompton Plains, River of Beer in Bloomingdale, and the Columbia Inn in Montville.

Fast forward to 2021, Angry Dad can be found in more than 200 retailers and bars throughout New Jersey, including MetLife Stadium and the newly opened American Dream supermall. They have over 1,300 check-ins on Untappd, with an average review of 3.5 or higher!
Unique to their brand is their dedication to helping and supporting local partners.
Angry Dad had a vision for helping support retailers through content marketing. They have toured the state with food blogger Tobias Eats to feature several restaurants to help drive more foot traffic through their doors. Notable places include: Tommy’s Tavern + Tap, Asbury Ale House, the Reservoir Tavern, Bang Bang Asbury Park, Sharky’s Wings and Raw Bar in Boonton, NJ, and more.
Angry Dad Brewing is now collaborating with 1st RND located at the American Dream mall in East Rutherford as their resident beer. This is the first location in the United States for 1st RND which originated in Canada.
1st RND is known for its 19 signature burgers and a ‘Build Your Own Burger’ option with over 200,000 possible combinations, wings (with sauces like Buffalo Garlic Parm, Truffalo Buffalo, Extreme BBQ, Peanut butter and Jelly, Coconut Curry, and Inferno), 36 drafts and 40 bottles from local crafts to international favorites, and more.

The restaurant is the best place for a sports experience as they have more TVs than they do tables. You can also ‘Tablegate’ with 1st RND before or after Giants and Jets games since they’re so close to Metlife stadium.
Ryan Iacovelli, the manager at 1st RND American Dream, met the Angry Dad crew at the Northern Eagle beer festival at the Meadowlands Racetrack. Ryan was on a quest for a great New Jersey amber ale, and he turned to Angry Dad for that need.
The Angry Dad signature recipe presents as an amber ale but finishes with the smoothness of a lager. Its golden-brown body and thick, off-white foam crown has a bold, yet approachable flavor. At 5.5% ABV, it’s easy to drink, bold, smooth and a must-have second pour, leaving you far from angry!
Not only is Angry Dad their resident beer, but they’re also paired with 1st RND’s signature burgers – the fighting Irish burger.
