Diner Round Up – Town and Country Diner
The Town and County Diner is just one of the many diners you’ll find while traveling on Route 130. This diner is located in Bordentown, which is part of Burlington County.
While traveling back from Philly I stopped at the Town and Country diner. Being that it was a Sunday after church time, the place was packed but luckily it’s a big place and we got seated within 5 minutes.
I’ve spoken in past reviews about menus being large at diners, this menu might be the largest. There were so many options I changed my mind several times.
What I ended up getting was the grilled chicken platter which included FOUR chicken breasts, two sides, and a choice of soup or salad. Needless to say, I was very full and took home a lot of leftovers.
My husband got a breakfast platter which might have been the biggest breakfast platter I’ve ever seen. It included eggs, pancakes and a ridiculous amount of meat that would make any vegetarian cry. He also took home left overs.
This diner has a huge bakery, and like Mastoris diner it also serves cheese and cinnamon bread which you can purchase to take home.
I would recommend this diner to anyone traveling through. They also have a small bar inside which offers their own specials if you want to just stop by for a drink!
