New Jersey Diner Review #309: The Harley Dawn Diner in Hammonton

If you’re looking for a unique dining experience, be sure to check out the Harley Dawn Diner located on Black Horse Pike in Hammonton. With locally sourced ingredients, indoors and outdoor dining, and a full liquor license this should definitely be added to your diner list.

We arrived for dining during their Sunday Brunch – my husband was craving breakfast while I was craving lunch. Good thing the diner has a variety of pretty much everything:

Things that stood out on their menu:
– A full list of creative omelets and Benedicts
– A Double Down Chocolate Waffle
– Mozzarella Cheese Curds
– Poutine
– A full list of gourmet salads
– a Goat Cheese Burger (among other gourmet burgers)
– The Souther Comfort (Half rack of “fall off the bone” Ribs and Slow Roasted BBQ Pulled Pork, served with homemade cornbread, coleslaw and hand cut sweet potato fries)
– Fresh hand-made pasta
– and much, much more.

My husband ordered the Breakfast Hoagie (two fried eggs, crispy bacon, home fries, sautéed onions, and sharp cheddar cheese on a buttered toasted torpedo roll). I mean…

I ventured to the healthier side with a crab cake bruschetta salad (Broiled crab cake along with house made bruschetta, avocado, red onion and quinoa, served over romaine and topped with shaved parmesan).

It was enough for two meals.

One of the things that stands out about the Harley Dawn Diner is how they fully embrace a green and environmentally sustainable building, which began over 9 years ago with the completion of their solar installation that generates 100% of their current electric usage. They are environmentally friendly, solar, and geothermal powered.
