Diner Round Up – The Princetonian Diner
I am almost done with visiting all of the Mercer County diners! Only 2 more to go! Crazy!
The Princetonian Diner is located in Princeton right off of Route 1. It’s a nice sized diner with plenty of parking that caters to locals as well at Princeton University. They had a lot of orange and black inside!
I was happy that on a Friday night they were offering some nice dinner specials. I decided to get mac and cheese with a crabcake…and boy was I happy it did.
It was an AMAZING deal. $12 for the entree, soup or salad and a dessert.
The portion of the meal was HUGE. I don’t know if the picture does it justice, but the crab cake was big and the mac and cheese was super cheesy. The meal was so thick that I only ate a quarter of the portion and brought the rest home.
The meal came with dessert, and although I was full I decided to get rice pudding anyway. I did not take a picture of it because when it arrived I immediately ate it. I highly recommend it.
The diner has a lot of desserts which they do on the premises. Everything looked amazing, including their black and white cookies which I came close to buying. Next time.
I also wanted to show a picture of my friend’s chicken gyro. I enjoyed the presentation so much that I had to snap a photo:
This is a great diner with lots of options. I highly recommend it!
