Bennie’s Diner in Brick Twp: Review

Open exclusively for breakfast and lunch, Bennie’s Diner is a kitschy luncheonette in the Jersey Shore.

I knew this would be an interesting visit before I walked in the door…

I do not use the term kitsch lightly. The biggest thing you’ll notice at Bennie’s Diner is all the fun things on their walls! Funny signs that will take you your whole visit to read. Movie memorabilia, an antique photo and register, and so much more!

They even have maps so you can pinpoint how far you’ve traveled.

And noisy games that will light up and talk while you’re eating.

Their menu is sweet and simple. Breakfast consists of eggs, pancakes, and french toast. Their lunch menu offers burgers and sandwiches. Not too much stood out other than their “Top Secret Recipe” Corned Beef Hash, their steak sandwiches, and their nitro cold brew coffee .

Ultimately I decided to get a sirloin cheeseburger and fries, mainly because the customer seated two seats away had one and it looked delicious.

It was.
