Summer in July brings lots of foodie events from night markets, food truck festivals, restaurant weeks, and food competitions! There are over 20 events going on this month that will satisfy all your food craving needs.

Sizzle into summer with all things bacon, featuring food trucks and restaurants plus mini pig races and a sizzling cooking demonstrations. Whoever said nothing tastes as good as being skinny obviously never had bacon.

Atlantic City Vegan Food Festival

The Atlantic City Vegan Food Festival is a 3-day festival on the boardwalk in Atlantic City featuring a vegan food truck festival, a Saturday morning 5K Run Walk, a vegan food festival inside the Showboat Hotel, and an official after-party. The event also features speakers and live podcasts (included in your ticket to the July 13 vegan food festival ticket.)

NJ State BBQ Championship & Anglesea Blues Festival
July 12 – 14
The Wildwoods will host the annual NJ State BBQ Championship & Anglesea Blues Festival on Olde New Jersey Avenues, and surrounding pubs in North Wildwood. Experience the best in Barbeque & Blues at this exciting three-day festival. Over 65 talented BBQ teams will be competing for the State title and a chance to move on to the National Championships. Live cooking demonstrations, incredible food and top regional and national blues acts on the Wildwoods FREE main stage. Hours are Friday, July 12 from 4-11 p.m., Saturday, July 13 from 10 a.m. – 11 p.m., and Sunday, July 14 from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Craft beer by Defiant Brewery, live bands including Weibaba, fun activities and pony rides for the kids will also be part of the day’s offerings. Bring a blanket or a chair and picnic the day away on our beautiful property while listening to live performances by local bands. Enjoy free museum tours with your paid admission. Get ready for the second installment of The Wake Up coming to Lake Lenape in Mays Landing on July 27, 2019! Last year was a huge success and The Wake Up Project is committed to bringing the community bigger and better things in 2019. The Wake Up is a fully formatted charity wakeboard competition for riders of all ages and abilities with plenty of games, food, and family entertainment filling up the day in Lenape Park. Admission is FREE for everyone and this year our signature event will also be featuring a food truck festival highlighting some of South Jersey’s best food vendors! Remember that this event is all for charity and once again the proceeds will be benefiting suicide prevention and mental health awareness!

From 7:30-9 The Mahoney Brothers possess the spirits of John, Paul, George, and Ringo and bring you a Beatles Tribute you won’t soon forget!
