Celebrate Independence Day on the waterfront at the 5th Annual Jersey City 4th of July Festival! Enjoy family fun all day with live music, carnival rides, and more! Take a stroll down Food Truck Alley or pop in to the Tented Food Village for a myriad of mouth-watering eats. The festivities will culminate with an amazing fireworks extravaganza by Grucci set against the New York City skyline.

Summit’s 71st Annual Fourth of July Celebration

Summit’s Fourth of July is a day-long celebration marked by traditions including the Children’s Decorated Bicycle Parade and the Grand Fireworks Display. After last year’s success, the Food Truck Festival will welcome a variety of vendors and will be expanded. New evening entertainment will feature The Infernos on the main stage. Carnival rides and children’s entertainment will also continue into the night for the second year, purchase a bounce pass and bounce all night long!

This fun filled day of events takes place at two locations and begins at Recreation Park at 8:30 am and will feature old fashioned county fair type events including 3 legged races, sack races, waterfall races, potato races, balloon races, softball throws, jumping contests, basketball shoots and football throws. There will be prizes and trophies for the winners in several age categories.There will be a concert and fireworks at Crestwood Lake starting at 7:30 pm. The fireworks display will start at dusk.

Ridgewood’s 4th of July Celebration has a theme – “Rockin’ Ridgewood: Celebrating All-American Music.” The event begins with a flag raising at 9 a.m. in Wilsey Square followed by a rain or shine parade at 10 a.m. Gates for the evening events open at 6 p.m. and close at 9 p.m at Veterans Field. Entertainment includes The Stilettos, Take 4, The Dad’s Night Band, and a Fireworks Extravaganza.

Visitors should plan to arrive early. Food will be available for purchase, and a Revolutionary War encampment will re-create life during the 1770’s. Park visitors should bring lawn chairs or blankets while they enjoy time in the park before the Independence Day fireworks begin.

The show begins at 8 p.m. Gates open at 6:30 p.m. Fireworks follow at about 9:15 p.m. at the high school’s stadium. Before the band and fireworks show comes the parade.
