Exposure and (201) Magazine present the springtime Women for Women Networking Event – Carpe Diem / Seize the Day on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Teaneck Marriott at Glenpointe. Sponsored by Healtheast Medical Group and The Ridgewood Wealth Management Group, UBS Financial Services, Inc, the event will showcase five exceptional women who took advantage of opportunities and turned them into success.

The event will begin with open networking from 6:00 p.m. to 7:25 p.m. with other professionals, experts, business owners and attendees. At 7:30 p.m., a panel, moderated by (201) Magazine Editor Amelia Duggan, will reveal how, despite challenges – and with commitment, they created new paths and careers for themselves.

The five inspiring women are:

Anna Zornosa, Founder and CEO of Ruby Ribbon. Inspired to create a unique, everyday shapewear apparel company, Anna built Ruby Ribbon around the idea of empowering women to look and feel their best.
Amber Sabathia, Founder and CEO of CCandy and a (201) Family contributing writer. Amber is also the executive director and co-founder of PitCCh In Foundation and is a mother of four.
Denise Spell, Chief Technology Innovator and CEO of Currant Inc. A career technology and social media expert, Denise developed Currant, Inc. to enable local communities to respond faster and more efficiently to large-scale disasters.
Merideth Bennett, Co-Executive Producer of the upcoming “Late Show” with Stephen Colbert. An accomplished TV producer working with the comedian, Merideth is also an active Ironman Triathlete.
Sarah Walton, Founder of the online magazine Better Way Moms and Co-Founder of Better Way to Italy, which offers boutique, luxury tours through Tuscany for women. She is also a proud mother and creator of LOVE by Sarah Walton, an organic, gluten-free skin care line.

The not-for-profit partner for this event is the Center for Hope and Safety (formerly Shelter our Sisters), a 501(c)3 organization helps thousands of woman across Bergen County break the cycle of violence.
