A local event has been recognized as one of the best in the country. The Sea Isle City Food Truck Festival was named a top-10 food truck festival in the United States by Vacation Idea.

Last year’s 1st Annual Sea Isle City Food Truck Festival took place in Sept. and brought roughly 7500 people to the event. This year’s event doubles the fun with the Sea Isle City Food Truck Rally June 26 to 28 and Sea Isle City Food Truck Festival Sept. 11 to 13. Both events are owned and operated by Stallion Marketing LLC. They will once again be held at Kix McNutley’s, 63rd and Landis Ave.

“We are absolutely honored to be recognized for this top award and bring more recognition to our event,” said Stallion Marketing LLC owner Denis Brown. “This just shows the location, trucks, and people involved are doing a great job.”

The new Sea Isle City Food Truck Rally will feature roughly 16 food trucks, including a mix of trucks that visited Sea Isle City last fall and some new trucks. Confirmed trucks for the rally include returning trucks like Vito’s Hot Dogs, Cha Yen, Sum Pig, Mike’s Pretzels, Zinna’s Bistro, El Lechon De Negron, Kix Lincoln Grill, Waffle De Lys, Five Sisters and Shore Shake. Also, PB&U, and Spectrum Farm to Truck are confirmed as new trucks, with a number of other trucks to be named closer to the event.

“The event was a great addition to Sea Isle City,” said Kix McNutley’s owner and Sea Isle City Mayor Len Desiderio. “We were happy to be able to offer the event twice this year because the visitors had such a good time last year.
