On St. Patrick’s Day, everyone is Irish. New Jersey hosts many St. Patrick’s Day parades that are FREE to attend and family friendly! Enjoy bagpipers, Irish dancers, music, and local organizations and celebrate this time of year! And don’t forget to wear green!

Hoboken’s Annual St. Patrick’s Day Celebration
March 2, 10AM
Since 2012, in an effort to curb shenanigans, the City of Hoboken has canceled the St. Patrick’s Day Parade. In it;s place, the Hoboken bar owners have organized a city-wide Annual St Paddy’s Hoboken Celebration. This Irish Themed celebration is held at over 15 venues. Participation is gained with the “All Access Pass” that you’ll register at the bar that you choose (your starting point). You’ll receive a wristband, which will entitle you to FREE Admission to all of the participating venues until at least 2 PM! With all of the bars in town being known for getting crammed in during the day – this pass will allow you to gain free access until 2 PM and some venues, even later into the afternoon! You will also receive a full MAP of Hoboken’s best venues to visit during the day. Passes for the many participating venues can be bought on their website.

Burlington County/Mount Holly Parade
March 2, 1PM
The only St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Burlington County begins in Downtown Mount Holly. The Parade is a fun filled day with Pipe Bands, Irish Bands Step Dancers and many more examples of Irish Traditions. Approximately 60 groups will participate, including Pipes and Drums, Bands, Fraternal Organizations, Celtic Organizations, Police and Fire Departments, and Youth Organizations. Join the crowd after the parade for a celebration at High Street Grill for the official After Party with non stop Irish music on two stages all day and night.

Belmar St. Patrick’s Day Parade
March 3, 12:30PM – 3:30PM

The Belmar-Lake Como Saint Patrick’s Day Parade has grown into one of the largest and best attended parades in the State.njoy bands, bagpipers, floats, and marching bands, and more! This a great family event, so dress in green and shamrocks!

4th Annual Gloucester City St. Patrick’s Day Parade
March 3, 1PM
The parade begins at Martin’s Lake (Baynes Ave and Johnson Blvd) and proceeds down Monmouth. The parade features string bands, bagpipes, Irish dancers, Irish music bands, community groups and more! Don’t forget explore Gloucester’s amazing pubs and restaurants featuring Irish cuisine and entertainment.

Morristown St. Patrick’s Day Parade
March 9, 12PM

The day begins with Mass at 10:00am at the Church of the Assumption, off Maple Avenue in Morristown. at the corner of South Street and James Street. The parade route is South Street to Atno Avenue. There will be about 20 bands with about 50,000 in attendance either in the parade or as spectators.

Ocean County/Seaside Heights, NJ – Parade
March 9, 12PM

The parade begins at on the Boulevard and goes 1- 1/4 miles long starting at the Seaside Park border and ending at Sampson Avenue. The rain date scheduled for the next day. This is a popular parade, last year over 75,000 people watching. marching bands and floats.

Atlantic City, NJ Parade
March 9, 12PM
Since 1986, Atlantic City has hosted their annual St. Patrick’s Day parade! The parade begins North of the Garden Pier and the Boardwalk ending at Albany Avenue and the Boardwalk. It will feature pipe bands, string bands.

Asbury Park St. Patrick’s Day Parade
March 10, 1PM – 4PM
Over the past 5 years, the Asbury Park St. Patrick’s Day Parade has attracted over 10,000 visitors to Asbury Park. The parade features local participation from honored veterans, local Boy & Girl Scout troops, dance school, high school marching bands, bicyclists, animal rescue groups, classic cars, regional pipe and drum groups and first responders! They also have appearances from national and international award winning mummers, clowns, roller girls, live bands on floats, Asbury Park’s beloved zombies and so much more.

Somerville, NJ St. Patrick’s Day Parade
March 10, 1:30PM
Parade begins at the corner of Main and Grove Streets in downtown Somerville and will proceed west to West End Avenue near Immaculate Conception Church. A pre-parade show is typically held weather permitting at 1:00 P.M. and will feature Irish Dancing exhibitions, and will be located in front of the Review Stand at the corner of Main Street and Doughty Avenue

Woodbridge St. Patrick’s Day Parade
March 10, 1:30PM
The 2019 Woodbridge  Parade starts at Woodbridge High School and ends at Woodbridge Town Hall. The Woodbridge parade is Central Jersey’s largest St. Patrick’s Day Parade features more than 80 marching units, including traditional Irish Pipe Bands and Step Dancers, Irish-themed parade floats and displays, marching bands representing all three Woodbridge Township high schools, representatives from Township fire departments, first aid and emergency response squads, and members of the Woodbridge Township education community.

West Hudson 46th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade
March 10, 2PM

The parade winds its way through two towns and one borough, Harrison, Kearny and East Newark, The line of march begins at S. Third Street and Harrison Avenue in Harrison. The parade makes a turn on Central Avenue in East Newark and then moves on to Kearny Avenue and Johnston Street in Kearny.

Friendly Sons of St. Patrick 6th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade
March 10, 3PM

A family friendly event with over forty marching units, five pipe and drum bands, step dancers,street entertainment and the list goes on.. The parade steps off at 3:00 pm, marching down Halstead Street in a circular route that ends where it began. Following the parade there’s an after-party at the historic Red Mill Museum Village; however, this is a ticketed event and typically sells out early.

Hackettstown’s Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade
March 10, 3PM – 5PM
This Irish-American tradition attracts more than 14,000 visitors—making this parade one of the biggest events in Hackettstown. Streets fill with enthusiasm as families, residents and visitors line up along the curb, in store windows and porches to celebrate and witness the festive parade. The parade will kick off at 3:30 pm with Grand Marshal Jim Travis leading numerous participants including Irish dance groups, Irish bands, community groups, bagpipes, drums, Centenary University clubs and groups, animals, Hackettstown and surrounding area fire departments and rescue squads, as well as hometown favorites Junior and Senior Colonial Musketeers and the Hackettstown Community Band. This parade is pet-friendly, with a special pet costume contest sponsored by Doggie Styleashes. Pets will be invited to walk the parade as St. Patrick and Irish Heritage costume contestants after judging.

Newark St. Patrick’s Day Parade

this is the 84th year the annual Newark parade will be held! The parade will begin promptly at 1:00 pm, Proceeding from the Prudential Center to Gateway Center, NJPAC, Military Park, St. Patrick’s Pro-Cathedral, and Washington Park . The parade is part of a larger Irish celebration in Newark that includes an Irish Heritage Week

Wildwood St. Patrick’s Day Celebration and Parade
March 16, 11:30AM – 2PM
The ceremony will begin on the front steps of North Wildwood City Hall, 10th & Atlantic Avenue, in North Wildwood beginning at 11:30 a.m. A festive parade will begin at noon and proceeds north on Atlantic Avenue to Olde NJ Avenue. Participants include, NWPD Honor Guard, VFW Color Guard, Vietnam Veterans of America, Ancient Order of Hibernians, Irish Pipe Brigade, Emerald Society, Miss North Wildwood Annika Marks, Anglesea Irish Society, Second Street Irish Society, Sheriff Mounted Patrol, local school bands, and much more!

16th Annual Sussex Co. St. Patrick’s Day Parade

The parade will feature nearly 100 units including Veterans and Active Members of the Armed Services, Police, Fire and EMS, elected officials, bands, floats, Irish Step Dancers, Community Organizations, local schools, accompanying service and antique vehicles, and a variety of pets. There will also be Irish theme characters and sweets and other free treats for children.

Union County St. Patrick’s Day Parade
March 16, 1PM – 4PM
The Parade begins with the Marching units gathered on Morris Avenue and along Commerce and Jeanette Avenues. The parade route proceeds east along Morris Avenue to a turn at the Main Reviewing Stand at Stuyvesant Ave. and ends at Roosevelt Avenue.

Annual South Amboy Saint Patrick’s Day Parade 2019
March 16, 2PM – 5PM
Annual St. Patrick’s Day parade! Wear green and show your spirit! The Parade route willo begin at South Pine Avenue, then takes the following route: Head North on S. Pine St. Turn Right onto Bordentown Avenue Turn Left onto South Stevens Turn Right on Main Street Turn Right on Broadway ​ The parade ends on Broadway at the reviewing stage.
South Amboy, NJ

Highlands, NJ – Parade
March 23, 2PM
The Highlands Business Partnership will paint the town green for the 16th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 2:00 PM. The colorful festivities will highlight Irish culture with nearly 100 marching units including bagpipers, marching bands, Irish dancers, and beautifully decorated floats. The parade will begin at Waterwitch Avenue and extend along Bay Avenue. The 2019 Grand Marshals are Christopher and Dolores Francy.

Keyport, NJ St. Patrick’s Day Parade
March 23, 1PM
The parade beginns at St. Joseph’s Church on Maple Place, the parade will move over West Fourth Street and continue on Maple Place to Broad Street where it will then head down to West Front Street, ending at Fireman’s Park.
