The Beach Diner in Point Pleasant Beach: Review

After a failed attempt to go to a diner that was closed without our prior knowledge, Hollie aka FueledbyLOLZ,  and I traveled an extra 7 minutes and ended up at the Beach Diner in Point Pleasant Beach for our monthly diner date.

Before traveling to a different diner in the area I didn’t know the Beach Diner even existed! Their online presence is very limited and did not come up when making my original data base. After visiting I would say this diner is the best kept secret in Ocean County.

Three words I’d use to describe the diner are cute, cozy, and classic. I loved their retro diner counter!

And their classic glass soda bottles. So cute!!

The diner is located on what I would call “downtown Point Pleasant” surrounded by local shops. There is only street parking which wasn’t too difficult to find since we visited during the off season. I’m sure in the Summer this diner is a hot spot!

Menu wise the Beach Diner has a short and sweet menu featuring all your diner favorites at affordable prices. Here are a few things that stood out to me on their menu:
– Stuffed French Toast (with Nutella and Bananas…yum!)
– a Pizza Omelette
– Lots of pork roll options!
– Homemade mac and cheese
– homemade potato salad, chili, chicken salad, and egg salad made to order
– hot dogs

Hollie and I ended up ordering the same exact thing which is rare for us! We both ordered coffee.

Followed up a salad! We both enjoyed the Apple Walnut Salad which is served with grilled chicken, apples, walnuts, chopped walnuts, and balsamic vinaigrette.

It was such a pretty salad and was very filling! Definitely one of the healthier diner meals I’ve had so far.

Although it was not the diner we planned, it was a great surprise to end up a diner that we both really enjoyed. Be sure to check it out!
