1. Sips and Sounds at Terhune Orchards – Fridays in August
Come for Terhune wine, light fare, relaxing music and friend-filled evenings every Friday this summer from 5 to 8 pm at Terhune Orchards Vineyard and Winery. Grab a glass of one of our award-winning wines, sit back, relax, and enjoy live music from local artists each week. Styles range from Jazz and Blues to Folk and Rock. Wine and light fare including cheese platters and chips and homemade salsa are available. It’s the perfect way to kick off your weekend! Rain or shine event, no admission fee. Individual glasses of wine can be purchased. Families are welcome. Please, no outside food.

2. 7th Annual Craft Beer & Crab Festival– August 4th
Mark your calendar for the Seventh Annual event and come to the beautiful grounds of the Emlen Physick Estate for an all-day festival featuring local and regional craft beers to wash down favorite summer foods … steamed crabs, pulled pork, crab cakes, shrimp and hot dogs, as well as food from regional vendors.

3. Corn, Tomato and Beer Festival – August 4th
Mark your calendars – the Corn, Tomato and Beer Festival is back, and moving to Stangl Road. The festival will be Saturday, August 4th (rain date August 5th) from 12 noon to 8pm. Great food, live music, fun and games for the whole family… and of course, New Jersey’s finest corn and tomatoes!

7. Crafts and Drafts at Lone Eagle Brewing Summer Edition – August 11th
It’s hot! Cool down with a seasonal summer beer at Marketspace and Lone Eagle Brewing’s Crafts and Drafts. Added by popular demand, the August 2018 craft market offers all of the excitement of local summer fun – with air conditioning! Meet 16 handmade craft vendors inside the loft of this downtown Flemington, New Jersey brewery then pull up a chair on the outdoor patio. As always, there will be food truck grub and award-winning craft beer on tap! Vendors are welcome to sample the brew. This event is free to attend, family-friendly, and dogs are permitted in the tasting room only.

10. Demarest Farms Wine Festival – August 11th & 12th
Annual NJ Wine Tasting event features many of the top, award-winning wineries in the region, who grow distinctive varietals and hybrid grape varieties, age them carefully at precise temperatures, and allow them to mature slowly in their own cellars. Come and meet the winemakers. Great food, wine, and entertainment!

11. Bellview Winery’s Seafood Festival – August 11th & 12th
On August 11th and 12th, cast your line and sip some wine at the Bellview Winery annual Seafood Festival! They will have a wide selection of seafood delights from some of the best gourmet seafood producers in the area. Wine tasting and Sangria will be available outside with chilled bottles inside for purchase. To the Maxx will be playing live throughout the day to get your sea legs dancing.

13. Summer Swelter Craft Beer Festival 2018 – August 18th
First annual craft beer festival in Pitman, NJ! Craft Breweries! Food trucks! Live music! Vendors! Must be 21 or over to attend. Designated driver tickets will be available at a deep discount.
*Limited VIP tickets available for 12:00 – 1:00 PM featuring exclusive beers, early access to the main festival breweries and beers, shorter lines, and voting for “Best of the Fest”!

14. Egg Harbor City’s 1st Food Truck & Beer Garden Festival – August 18th
The EHCEDC is sponsoring Egg Harbor City’s 1st Food Truck & Beer Garden Festival on Saturday, August 18th from 3-9 pm. There will be live music all day including a special Elvis Tribute by “Gentleman Jim” and the Bands Quasimodos Bride, Lick My Soul, Nick Noto, Cynthia Waters and others.

15. Riverwinds Wine Festival – August 25th & 26th
Admission includes souvenir wine glass and sampling of over 250 New Jersey wines. Also enjoy the wares of local artisans and crafters, food from several fantastic eateries will be available for purchase, and live music.

16. Murder Mystery Dinner at Four Sisters Winery – August 26th
It’s not a typical who done it….It’s the guests in the audience that create a witty, weaving story line. As the plot thickens, the victim falls prey and the detectives investigate with deductive reasoning to reveal the murderer. Formal wine tasting, buffet style dinner of salad, pasta dinner with meatballs bread and dessert. Dessert wines will be served back in the winery after an educational tour of the wine cellar.
