15 Adorable NJ Alpaca Farms You Must Visit!

What’s better than seeing the face of a fluffy alpaca! In case you don’t know, an alpaca is a species of South American camelid found in Southern Peru, Western Bolivia, Ecuador, and Northern Chile. There has been a rise in NJ alpaca farms and luckily a lot of them let you visit!

What’s the difference between an alpaca and a llama? Although they are closely related there are a few differences. For one, alpacas are bred specifically for their fiber which is used to make knitted and woven items. They are INCREDIBLY soft and cozy alpaca blankets, sweater, gloves, etc are very popular. Secondly, alpacas are a lot smaller.
