The event takes place on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Ramapo College of New Jersey. This event showcases five exceptional women who started a new conversation by disrupting the norm, pushing the envelope, speaking out and making a difference.

The event begins with open networking from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. of professionals, experts, business owners and other attendees.  At 6:45 p.m., a panel, moderated by (201) Magazine Editor Amelia Duggan, will showcase these accomplished women who took the initiative to make a changes in their communities and beyond.

Start the year off with a new mindset, follow through on your plans and open yourself up to an opportunity that could potentially help you reach your personal and professional goals.

The five inspiring women are:
Christine Figueroa – Director & independent consultant for Beautycounter.com
Lucy Del Gaudio – U.S. Army Veteran and Team Red, White & Blue (501(c)3) Captain for NNJ
Terrie O’Connor – Founder and CEO of Terrie O’Connor Real Estate
Tami Luchow Sachs – “”DARE TO BE DIFFERENT” Motivational Speaker & Disability Rights Activist
Wendy Federman – Multi-award winning producer of shows including the “Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night” and “An American in Paris” and the CEO of Foolish Mortals Production company

The not-for-profit partners for this event are the Center for Hope and Safety (formerly Shelter our Sisters), a 501(c)3 organization that helps thousands of woman across Bergen County break the cycle of violence, and Team Red, White & Blue, also a 501(c)3 whose mission is to enrich the lives of America’s veterans by connecting them to their communities through physical and social activity.

Participating businesses include Beautycounter.com, (201) Magazine, Studio M, Above & Beyond Holistic Wellness, Authentic Pilates Center, The Record, Team Red, White & Blue, Lady Savant, State of NJ Department for Children & Families and more.

Tickets to the Women for Women Networking Event are $20 in advance and $30 at the door. For students and military service women with valid ID, the entry price is $15 at the door. Parking is free, and a parking pass will be emailed to you once your ticket is purchased.   If you purchase your ticket at the door, a parking pass and directions will be available for you at the college’s security gate.   In the event of hazardous road conditions, the event will be rescheduled to Thursday, January 14.   For more information and to purchase tickets for Women for Women, visit northjersey.com/exposure.
