Vegas Diner in North Wildwood: Review
What happens at the Vegas Diner does not stay at the Vegas Diner…as I am here to review it for you! The Vegas Diner is a very kitschy diner…perfect for North Wildwood.
I dined at the Vegas Diner for breakfast during Wildwood’s off season (I was very happy they were open).
They had so many breakfast options it made it hard to choose one! They had lots of different omelettes, pancakes, waffles, and their famous creamed chipped beef.
My husband chose his breakfast based on their 7 house specials. Each special is around $10 and includes orange juice and a choice of coffee or tea. He got the #1 which included a ham steak and THREEE eggs with homefries, and toast. Needless to stay he skipped lunch.
I ended up getting something I’ve never seen before, Boston Cream Hot Cakes. When I placed my order, my waitress’s eyes lit up and she told me I made an excellent choice. She returned soon after with a big cup of water, letting me know I was going to need it.
Generally when I get a big desserty meal like this, I end up eating half and taking the rest home. But not that day! It was SO much food but it was so delicious I couldn’t stop eating it. I also skipped lunch.
This meal has made it into my top ten diner meals of all time…so that’s saying something.
Although we missed out on being there for dinner, I did see some cool things on their menu including the “Land and Sea Burger” (a burger topped with shrimp and their special sauce) and lots of seafood options including lobster tail. They also offer daily specials, even on the weekends.
I really enjoyed my visit to the Vegas Diner, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
