Trying Out the New Bar Bites Menu @ Bonefish Grill – Lawrenceville, NJ

Can you believe I’ve never been to a Bonefish Grill before? If YOU haven’t been…you definitely should check it out.

I was invited to go to the Lawrenceville location to try out their new Bar Bites menu which was launched a few weeks ago. The location was really easy to get to, right off of Route 1 South, and it’s in a shopping area that has lots of great stores, I really enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant, it had great mood lighting and the decor was romantic and clean.

Now for the food…

The Bar Bites menu starts at just $5 and there is a lot of different things to choose from…so my husband and I got to try a lot of different things we might not have normally ate.

I decided that my meal would be completely made of appetizers from the bar bites menu since it all looked very good. I started with the chipolte shrimp dim sum sliders and shared the mac and cheese bites. Seen here:

I had never even heard of a dim sum slider before, but it was really interesting. You have a choice or BBQ pork or chipolte shrimp and it comes with 3 dim sum slider buns. It was REALLY good. The mac and cheese bites were also delicious, and I also enjoyed the sweet chili sauce it came with. I also added to my meal a blackberry red sangria which was amazing! All their drinks, including a long list of martinis, looked delicious. I was quite fond of my sangria though…

Next I decided to try their street tacos which are served in a wonton shell. They have two options, lobster and ahi tuna tartare so I decided to try both. They were both fantastic and I highly recommend them.

I also wanted to mention that my husband, who is not a big seafood person, got their kobe beef burger and it looked amazing. There is something for everyone!

We finished the night with the “in the dough” doughnuts where you can inject your doughnuts with hot fudge and caramel. AMAZING…and fun!

If you do go to Bonefish Grill in the near future, be sure to use this coupon! It gives you a complimentary dim sum sliders, mac and cheese bites or doughnuts (all of which can be seen above!!) But hurry, it expires on March 15th!
