The Train Diner Restaurant in West Caldwell, NJ

Located in a strip mall in West Caldwell sits a very cute and classic New Jersey Diner called the Train Diner Restaurant.

In addition to it’s train decor it has very cool lighting. Each table had a different color light bulb which was something I had never seen before.

I am also a fan of their old school milkshake machine, and if I was feeling hungrier I might have gotten a milkshake which I rarely do. I hear they are very good!

Interesting Items From Their Menu Include:
– Eggs Benedict Lox
– Banana Split Belgian Waffle
– Char-Broiled Rib Eye Steak
– Pan-fried Beef Liver
– Veal Parmesan
– Stuffed Tomatoes
– Signature Salads
– Triple Decker Club Sandwiches
…and more

The Train Diner serves daily weekday lunch specials which include their homemade soup. Since I can never turn down a good deal,  I had to go for it.

I decided on matzoh ball soup, my fave.

And for my entree I have a turkey burger which was really good!

Overall a good experience at the Train Diner. NJIB Tip: Glaze Donuts is next door and they occasionally give out free samples.
