Top Ten New Jersey Events for September 28th – 30th, 2018

Looks like it’s Oktoberfest Season (despite it being September)! From FREE family events, several Oktoberfests throughout the state from Hackettstown to Cape May, and a few craft beer festivals! Here are my picks for the Top Ten New Jersey Events for September 28th – 30th, 2018.

Hackettstown Oktoberfest 2018
Hackettstown is ready to celebrate their 3rd annual Hackettstown Oktoberfest!Czig Meister Brewing Company, Homebrew University Main Street, Man Skirt Brewing and Bea McNallys Irish Pub and Eatery will host activities, contests, craft vendors, music, drinks and food at their Platz through regular operating hours. This Oktoberfest is a family friendly event; there’s a kids’ costume contest category and other non-alcohol related activities.

Oktoberfest
Celebrate the famous Bavarian tradition in Cape May the festival will be located on Carpenter Lane between Decatur & Jackson and continue down Jackson Street to Beach Ave. as it is transformed into a German promenade with authentic music and food. Visit the Beer Gardens and Food Courts browse the artisans tables selling crafts, antiques and collectibles.

Glassboro Craft Beer Festival
6th Annual Glassboro Craft Beer Festival featuring local craft beer in downtown Glassboro. This year should prove to be even bigger and better with an amazing line up of beers and breweries.

Yogi Berra Stadium Food Truck & Craft Beer Fest
Tap into the fun at the annual Food Truck & Craft Beer Festival presented by the New Jersey Jackals. Join in for an all day party of fun for the whole family. The Food Truck & Craft Beer Fest will feature over 20 food trucks with a variety of delicious fare and a beer garden with over 50 different craft beers!

Hopatcong PBA 149 Food Truck & Music Festival
The Just Jersey Fest is rolling into Hopatcong Borough. Food! Beer! Music! Fun! New Jersey foodies, eat your hearts out! It’s a fun filled family Fall day! Over 20 Gourmet Food Trucks, partnered with some incredible bands.Bring your appetite, lawn chairs, 4 legged friends and blankets. Dine on excellent food, while enjoying the beer and sangria garden along with the amazing sounds. Benefit for Hopatcong PBA 149! Dogs are welcome!

Chester Lion Club’s 20th Annual Oktoberfest Weekend
The Chester Lions Club Oktoberfest is a family event. Live music, entertainers, bounce houses and other inflatables, games, a climbing wall, and other activities are available for them to enjoy. The Chester Lions Club food tent offers a variety of authentic German food including bratwurst, German potato salad, sauerkraut, smoked pork chops, apple strudel, delicious beehive cake and authentic plum cake, and more. Hod dogs, ice-cream, funnel cakes, and more are also available on site. And of course…beer!

Chowderfest Cook Off Classic- 30th Year Celebration!
Unlimited tasting of Manhattan, New England and Creative Seafood Chowders with a wide variety of beers, hard ciders on tap and new for the thirtieth, Barefoot wine! Multiple live music line up and family entertainment throughout the day!!

Hoboken Fall Arts and Music Festival
Over 200 artists, crafters, photographers, food vendors, local businesses and more. Red Bank Guinness Oyster Festival
This street festival anticipates a great time had by one and all and is fashioned after the 64 year old Galway Oyster Festival which celebrates the opening of the Oyster season. It will be a huge food and music festival which will showcase Red Bank’s excellent restaurants as well as entertain thousands with continuous live music on two stages! It’s also family friendly with activities for the kids, plus unique vendors!

Long Valley Brew Pub’s Oktoberfest
