The Jersey City Craft Brew Fest
October 23, Session 1: 1PM – 4:30PM, Session 2: 6PM – 9:30PM

The Jersey City Craft Brew Fest is a perfect opportunity for beer aficionados to enjoy and oktoberfest style beer tasting in their own backyard. The Morgan St Lot will be hosting an eclectic variety of supremely fermented beer and cider in all styles, combining the best elements of a Beer Garden with the staggering array of choices found only at a Craft Beer Festival.

With over 150 craft beers, it’s a great place to discover new beers and speak to brewery representatives. There will be many New Jersey breweries in attendance, including Jersey City’s own Departed Soles, Hoboken’s 902 Brewing, and many others. Guests will enjoy craft beer samples, paired with live music. Delicious food from Angry Archie’s, Chavas Empanadas, Mozzarepas, Taste of Poland & more!

Midnight Market
October 22, 2 Sessions

Get excited because Midnight Market is back this Friday! Midnight Market is an exciting take on the classic night market scene. This year they are operating two event sessions to stay safe and socially distant. Be sure to grab your tickets in advance (ticket sales end on the 21st, no walk-ins) for a pop-up at 902 Brewing Co in Jersey City.

Brookdale Haunted Theater
October 22, 7PM – 10:30PM

Celebrating 18 years of scares, Brookdale Performing Arts Center’s Haunted Theater is locally regarded as one of the scariest and most immersive Halloween attractions in Monmouth County, New Jersey. This indoor, self-guided walk-through haunted house maze – which is designed, built, and operated by more than a 100 Brookdale students, staff, faculty, alumni, and community members – features themed mazes, pitch-black zones, and special effects, all contained within the walls of the Performing Arts Center.

Historic Smithville’s Monster Bash
October 23, 10AM – 6PM
That’s not the undead walking the streets of Galloway Twp.. it’s Smithville’s annual Zombie Walk! On October 23 (rain date Nov. 2) the residents of Galloway Township and the surrounding areas find their way to Smithville either in full zombie gear or ready to be painted to look like a zombie (for a small fee).

Fall Festival at Whitechapel Projects

The 3rd annual Long Branch Fall Bazaar will take place Sat & Sun, Oct 23 & 24 from 12-5 pm at Whitechapel Projects, a beautiful arts, food and cultural venue in Long Branch, NJ. There is plenty of outdoor space to social distance and enjoy shopping from local vendors and makers, a kids costume parade, trick or treating, kids workshops, costume contest for pets and adults, and fun Fall and Halloween-themed activities for families, friends and all ages.

Somerset Patriots Ballpark Brewfest 2021
October 23, 12PM – 9PM

Hang out in the concourse, down in the stands and even sample tasty brews by home plate! With 80 beers from 40 breweries, live music, food and fun, this is guaranteed to be a good time. There are hours of beer sampling, live music and good food. VIP tickets allow for 1 hour early entry and are very limited.

Witches Day Out
October 24, 2PM

On Sunday, October 24, 2021, Historic Smithville will be hosting its Witch’s Day Out! Come treat yourself to a good time at the Smithville Village. Wear your witch’s hat and enter our hat contest; registration is from 12pm-2pm at the Smithville Inn. Parade and judging will take place between 3:30 and 4:30. Winners announced thereafter at the Smithville Inn. Food and drink specials will be offered. Please stop into our Shoppes with your hat and see what deals await you! Historic Smithville offers 60 Shoppes, 7 eateries, carousel ride, train ride, paddle boats and arcade, on site lodging at the Colonial Inn and over 26 free weekend events!
