The Friends of the Bergen County Zoo are pleased to announce that a brand new winter event is happening! Let it Glow – A Holiday Lantern Spectacular. This Extraordinary event is located inside the Bergen County Zoo. Let it Glow is a symphony of vivid glowing colors to tease your eyes and dazzle the mind. Come and enjoy an enchanting stroll throughout the zoo. These larger-than-life lanterns are amazing in picture but stunning in person! With over 30 scenes, these hand-made artistic wonders are more breath-taking than the last!

WinterFest Ice Skating at Cooper River
January 20 – January 23

WinterFest Ice Skating at Cooper River Park presented by the Camden County Board of Commissioners will open from now until February 21 at Cooper River Park near the corner of Cuthbert Blvd. and Park Avenue in Cherry Hill.
Hours of Operation:
Thursdays: 5 PM – 9 PM
Fridays: 5 PM – 10 PM
Saturdays: 12 PM – 10 PM
Sundays: 12 PM – 9PM

Downtown Haddonfield’s 12th Annual Winterfest Sale

Celebrate the start of the New Year by shopping, dining and experiencing Downtown Haddonfield’s much-anticipated 12th Annual Winterfest Sale Thursday, January 20 through Sunday, January 23. Snow date is January 27-30.

Super Pet Expo
January 21 – 23

Creatures as small as a butterfly and as large as an alligator, plus thousands of dogs and cats, will welcome pet lovers who join them at the 2022 Super Pet Expo at the New Jersey Convention Center, Edison, in its 21ST year. Special features will include celebrity dogs performing Frisbee skills, stunts and gymnastics, as well as races for dachshund, corgis and mixed-breed pooches and the popular luring ring where dogs chase a make-believe rabbit.

Penguin Awareness Day at Jenkinson’s Aquarium

The Blessing of the Vineyard at Laurita Winery
January 22, 1PM – 5PM
The Blessing of the Vineyard honors St Vincent Tournate, the Patron Saint of the Vineyards. The ceremony will be conducted by officiant Father Martin O’Reilly, from the parish of Mary Mother of the Church in Bordentown, N.J.
After the ceremony, which is planned to be outside (weather permitting), you will retreat back to the warmth of the winery and celebrate with prayer, breaking of bread, and share a complimentary toast of wine.

Winter Makers Market at Barlow’s
January 22 & 23, 11AM – 4PM

Support local makers & shakers from the community and enjoy a stroll around Barlow’s cozy heated greenhouse. The perfect excuse to get out of the house and escape the winter blues! They’ll be hosting a wide array of talented artists from the area, so be sure to stop in and check them out!

Winery in Winter Weekends
January 22 & 23, 12PM – 5PM

Join for a chance to gather with friends, and family. This winter Terhune Orchards winery will be open Saturdays & Sundays with indoor and outdoor seating. Seasonal hot mulled wine is a wonderful way to warm up. Sample a variety of wines in tasting flights or enjoy wine by the glass. Fire pits will be going all weekend. Bring your glasses and enjoy them fireside. Light fare is available. All ages can enjoy s’more kits and hot cocoa. Families are welcome. No reservations are needed, maximum group of 8 guests.
