Liberty Science Center Fall Fest Finale
Now – October 31

Tons of indoor and outdoor adventures for your family and friends. Pick out the perfect pumpkin in NJ’s largest indoor Pumpkin Patch – you can even use an endoscope to see what’s inside a pumpkin! Stroll through the Spooky Pathway, where you’ll encounter spiders, bats, skeletons, and other not-so-scary souls. Discover the fascinating lives of cockroaches, tarantulas, scorpions, and millipedes at the Creepy Crawler Corner. Enjoy the Monsters of the Night Sky astronomy show or the Halloween Laser Show in the Jennifer Chalsty Planetarium, and work it out on the dance floor at our Monster Mash Dance Party. Outside, be sure to make your way through the fan-favorite Spider Maze (it’s back!) and then dig for fossils in our new outdoor space, Dino Dig Adventure. You’ll also find fun fall treats and drinks to enjoy!

The fun wraps up at the Fall Fest Finale, a big weekend of trick-or-treating, costumes, and more on Oct. 30 and 31.

Moonlight Adult Tour: Halloween Edition
October 29, 6PM – 8PM

Experience an “adult-oriented” tour during the evening hours! On Friday, October 29th at 6 pm, this adult tour, led by the Battleship’s Curatorial team will include stories of some of the more gruesome events that took place onboard the ship. Guests can enjoy a cold beer, glass of wine, or a soft drink after the tour on the Main Deck Portside area and watch the sunset over Philly!

Haunted Haddonfield Walking Tours 2021
October 29 & 30, Rain date: October 31

The Historical Society of Haddonfield is pleased to once again be leading Haunted Haddonfield Walking Tours during October! Proceeds benefit the Historical Society of Haddonfield. The walk is less than 1 mile with several stops through a cemetery. The tour lasts about 45 minutes and may include uneven sidewalks, brick paths, and unpaved paths. Feel free to call the Historical Society’s office at 856-429-7375 to discuss more specifics.

DerpyCon
October 29 – 31

DerpyCon is New Jersey’s Anime, Gaming, Sci-Fi, and Comic Convention, bringing every nerdy genre under one roof. Held since 2014, DerpyCon has been providing New Jersey a premier geek event filled with panels, concerts, video gaming, cosplay, vendors, dances, LARPs, artists, and so much more!

Zombie Apocalypse Bike Ride
October 30, 10AM – 1PM

Join the fun on Saturday, October 30, for a Zombie Apocalypse Bike Ride, starting at Fireman’s Field at Delaware and Raritan Canal State Park. The trip will be approximately 3.2 miles round trip to Lambertville and back. Zombie attire and/or makeup are strictly required. Bring your own bike or rent from Big Bear Gear (must reserve any rental bike in advance at BigBearGearNJ.com).(Make sure to sign the waiver in the link)

Boo at the Zoo!
October 30, 10AM – 2PM

Sponsored by the Cape May County Board of Commissioners, this event is free and open to the public. Visitors of all ages are invited to wear a costume to this fun family event, which includes activities for the kids, craft station, games, candy, entertainment, animals, inflatable obstacle course, pirate ship and more.

A Costume Contest will start at 11 a.m., registration begins at 10 a.m. An awards presentation will follow the Halloween costume contest. The Cape May Dancers will perform at 12:00 p.m. with a live animal show following. Master DJ & Sound will be rocking the event with some special Halloween tunes.

Fall Fest at Creamy Acres
October 30, 10AM – 4PM

Fall Fest is back! Come on down to the farm for a day filled with hayrides, pumpkin picking, wandering their cornfield maze, riding the cow train, visiting their barnyard, climbing tire mountain, riding pedal cars, saving the farm from zombies at their paintball shoot out and more! Your ticket includes includes all-day access to the farm park, hayride to the pumpkin patch, and cornfield maze!

Randolph Halloween Food Truck or Treat Festival
October 30, 11AM – 6PM

The Randolph Rescue Squad & Just Jersey Fest have joined together for this Halloween Food Truck Festival. Come on out & have some fun and don’t forget the kids! Costume contest, Trick or Treating at every truck & booth, 20 gourmet food trucks, Live Music from Mr Love Joy & The Captains of Leisure, vendors, beer, margarita & sangria garden, kid activities including knockerball, face painting, sand art, axe throwing & so much more!

St. Thomas The Apostle Church Food Truck and Music Festival
October 30, 11AM – 7PM

Food …Beer…live music, family fun celebrating the unofficial start of the holiday season. Celebrate Halloween weekend 6+ Food Trucks, craft vendors, Biergarten, Hatchet tossing, face painting, cornhole and shop for local crafts.

Spooky Lantern Tours at Whitesbog
October 30, 5PM – 9PM

This is a family-friendly event to raise funds for Whitesbog Preservation Trust’s (a nonprofit) work in preserving the historic village and providing family programs. All of the helpers are volunteers and love sharing the spooky and creepy Historic Village with others! Haunted Lantern Tour into the Pine Barrens woods along the Trail, starting at 5 pm at the General Store, self-guided, we will space groups out to enjoy the spooky walk through the woods! Walkers will be on their feet, over some rough terrain, in the woods, watch out for branches and creepy crawlies! We will walk in light rain so come prepared! The hike distance is a little over a half-mile.
