First Friday Late Night: Old Fashioned Holiday
December 7, 5PM – 9PM
Get your holiday shopping done while listening to Christmas Carolers up and down Main Street. Enter your gingerbread house in our Best Gingerbread House In Boonton contest at the BMS office! Businesses will be open late for an evening of sales, socializing, dining, art, and shopping!

Mount Holly Tree Lighting Ceremony
December 7, 6PM – 9PM

The Mount Holly Tree Lighting Celebration will feature a variety of fun, family-friendly activities – all free of charge. Children and adults are invited to enjoy free arts and crafts, and Free Hot Chocolate and Cookies. Children will have an opportunity to visit and sit with Santa and Mrs. Claus for photos. The celebration will also feature live music from 6 to 9 p.m. on the stage and in the street next to the tree. 101.1 More FM will also be onsite playing holiday music for the duration of the celebration.

Bordentown’s Annual Holiday Chocolate Walk
December 7, 6PM – 9PM

Enjoy Bordentown City’s YUMMIEST Holiday event as you stroll through the businesses of this historic downtown. Each business offers ‘Chocolate Walkers’ a tasty chocolate treat and a stamp in their Chocolate Passport ($5). You’ll enjoy everything from a piece of chocolate, to brownies, and hot chocolate as you stroll the historic downtown business district. When you’re finished your Chocolate Walk, return your passport at the Downtown Bordentown Association (DBA) tent to be entered to win a $50.00 gift certificate for use at any DBA member business!

December 8, 1PM – 5PM

Join Have You Met Newark Tours for their 6th Annual Holiday Shop Hop. Hop with your guide and a fun group to shops that have been selected as having the BEST LOCAL gifts for the holidays! Tour includes stops at 8+ unique shops and a warm cookie.

The Jingle Bell Jog
December 8, 9AM – 11PM
Join in the fun at the 3rd Annual Jingle Bell Jog on Saturday December 8, 2018 (RAIN DATE December 9th). Walk, jog, run, or stroll on the beautiful pathway around the lake. Get a jingle bell for each lap you complete. Enjoy the jingle getting louder and louder throughout the event! Children, strollers, and leashed dogs are all welcomed!
OPERATION WARM HEART DONATIONS: Gently used or new hats, gloves, scarves, and jackets, Keurig coffee and tea, laundry pods, sewing supplies, disposable/unopened tableware, bottled water, monetary donations.
BEST FRIEND DOG AND ANIMAL ADOPTION: Canned dog and cat food (no Alpo or Pedigree please), cat and dog treats, rugged toys, black Kongs, monetary donations.

Winter Solstice Celebration
December 8, 11AM – 3PM
The Annual Winter Solstice Celebration at Cattus Island County Park is a free event that features Games, Live Animal Talks, Horse Carriage Ride, a Visit from Santa, Candy Cane Nature Walk, Food and Campfire Storytime!

Glasstown Brewing’s 5th Annual Adult Ornament Hunt
December 8, 12PM – 4PM

This year Glasstown Brewing is switching things up a little for their 5th annual ornament hunt. You will get 3 raffle tickets for your $5 with the chance to purchase more or hunt for more! All proceeds of the ticket sales will go to a local non profit to help the homeless in Cumberland County called the M25 Initiative & Code Blue! Also, they are collecting hats, gloves, scarves and coats to help the homeless if you would like to bring one with you the day of the event!

Pitman Winter Village
December 8, 5PM – 9PM

Visit Uptown Pitman and be transported to the charm of a Victorian Holiday! Find unique and handmade gifts in our stores and from more than 30 special vendors in our holiday shopping village. Visit Santa or ride the free trolley. Toast a marshmallow at one of the cheerful bonfires, try some wassail, and stroll along with Victorian costumed actors beneath the Holiday lights Uptown. This event is rain or shine. In the event of rain vendors will display their wares at Sunset Auditorium on Laurel Ave.

Asbury Park Holiday Bazaar
December 8 & 9, 11AM – 6PM

Don’t miss the most spectacular holiday market in New Jersey! The Asbury Park Holiday will feature over 200 of the best local and regional artists, vendors, and shops selling the cutest and coolest vintage, handmade, art, jewelry, home goods, foodstuffs, and more. The Asbury Park Bazaar will take place in beautiful and historic Convention Hall, which will be transformed into a winter wonderland this holiday season. The Bazaar will feature live music and special performances, Photos with Santa Sundays, holiday photo booth, a 30 foot Christmas tree, fireplace lounge, and beautiful holiday decor. On Sundays, bring a toy or gently used coat for the AP Toy & Coat Drive or donate what you can and you will receive a 4×6 print of your Photo with Santa, along with copies of your photos emailed to you.
