Highlands Annual Guinness Run
March 4, 2PM

10th Annual Guinness Run 2023 The Highlands Business Partnership’s 10th Annual Guinness Run will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at 2pm. The fun race will begin at Off the Hook, 1 Navesink Avenue, where contestants will fill their cup and race to Grand Tour and back to the finish line at Off the Hook. The contestant with the most liquid in their cup at the finish line, wins the 1st Place trophy and $100 in BID Cards. 2nd Place winner will receive a $50 BID Cards. Fun runners are encouraged to wear their best Irish green! This event helps fund the Highlands St. Patrick’s Day Parade, that will take place on Saturday, March 18th and is sponsored in part by Ritchie & Page and Off the Hook.

Cost: Registration is $40.00 and includes a commemorative t-shirt and a Guinness Pint glass to the first 100 registered runners. All runners have access to the Post-Race Party, with complimentary appetizers and Guinness Beer.

25th Annual Cranbury Craft Show
March 4 (10AM – 4PM) & 5 (11AM – 4PM)

The 25th annual Cranbury Craft Show will kick off the first weekend in March with more than 115 exhibitors. Lunch service is back this year and will be available for purchase by shoppers and exhibitors. Exhibitors include Artisans showcasing their amazing talents and a fun shopping experience. The show is family-friendly, featuring a wide-range of handmade items: jewelry, art, photography, pottery, candles, pet apparel, clothing, toys, gourmet foods, candy, desserts, and more. Proceeds benefit the Cranbury Education Foundation.

Maple Sugaring Fest at Reeves-Reed Arboretum
March 5, 1PM – 4PM

Enjoy a brisk winter afternoon learning the steps involved in turning tree sap into delicious maple syrup. The whole family will enjoy spending the day outdoors, hiking on trails, and partaking in a Maple Sugaring Challenge! Also enjoy some hot chocolate, maple vendors, and more. It’s going to be a sweet day. This event will be held rain or shine; no refunds.

Cost: Maple Sugaring Fest is FREE for RRA Members and children under 3. The cost for Non-Members is $5 per person, $25 maximum per family.

Belmar St. Patrick’s Day Parade
March 5, 12:30PM – 3:30PM
It’s the 50th anniversary! The Belmar-Lake Como Saint Patrick’s Day Parade has grown into one of the largest parades in New Jersey. Enjoy bands, bagpipers, floats, and marching bands. This is a fun-family friendly event, be sure to wear lots of green and shamrocks.

Maple Sugaring Open House
March 5, 2 Sessions

Come to Schiff to experience this hands-on demonstration of maple sugar production with members of Schiff’s educational staff and Board. The tradition of maple sugaring began centuries ago with the Native Americans and early settlers and continues today as homeowners learn to identify, tap, and process the sap of Maple trees. The educational presentation will explain the history of maple sugaring, the seasonal life cycle of the sugar maple tree, and how 100% real maple syrup is made from finding and tapping the tree. Following the educational program, enthusiasts can view the wood-fired evaporator at work and then move on to sample the final product. Of course, the best part is tasting fresh syrup and tasty treats made from our own Schiff maple syrup. An optional two-mile field walk to the working maple grove will be offered to see the tapping and collection operation.

2023 Millburn Lunar New Year Festival
March 5, 12PM – 5PM

The Millburn Short Hills Chinese Association (MSHCA) and the Millburn Institute of Talent (MIOT) invite you to celebrate the Year of the Rabbit with at a lively street fair in downtown Millburn. The festival will feature a vibrant street fair with delicious food, lively music, and cultural performances. There will also be many exciting hands-on activities for both adults and children, including carnival games with free prizes, scavenger hunts with special gifts, bouncing houses, trackless train rides, dragon dances, and martial arts demonstrations, to name just a few.
