Six New Jersey Foodie Events to Look Forward to this July

Summer is here and we have been in event withdrawal. Luckily there are a few events that we can look forward to including food truck events, outdoor markets, and more. While keeping social distancing in mind, here are 6 events happening this July 2020.

Rockaway Twp Food Truck Festival
July 11, 11AM – 7PM
Rockaway Food Truck Fest is coming Social Distancing Style! All attendees who enter MUST wear a facemask. No face mask, no entry! Social distancing marking will be in front of every truck, please abide by those markings on where to stand. 500 people allowed at a time. 2 leave, 2 more get to go in. 4 leave, 4 more get to go in. etc etc… A Benefit for Rockaway Township Recreation.
Peterson Field Upper Lot, Fleetwood Dr, Rockaway, NJ
Cost: $5 admission, 5 & under free

Empanada Extravaganza
July 12, 11AM – 7PM
The Cinco de Mayo Food Truck Fiesta is a celebration like no other! Think spicy food, sangria, taco trucks and more mariachi bands than you can tip your sombrero to! All that comes to the Garden State Plaza on May 3rd! The “Empanada Extravaganza” empanada contest will also be part of this event. Try delicious empanadas from several different vendors and vote for your favorite!

Paramus Food Truck Drive Thru Festival
July 12, 11AM – 7PM
Get Ready…Northern New Jersey’s First Drive Thru Food Truck Event!! Food Truck drive-thru is happening at Paramus Park Mall. 25 food truck favorites will be set up. Organizers will be on site helping to direct customers. The drive-thru will allow patrons to pull up in their car, take a look at all of the truck’s offerings, and then order and pay there. The various local food trucks encourage the use of debit or credit cards, but will take cash.
Cost: $5 per car

Toms River Food Truck Festival
July 18, 11AM – 7PM
The Food Trucks are rolling in to Toms River! Kick off your Summer at this awesome event featuring: DJ & live bands, 25 food trucks, beer, margarita & sangria garden, face painting, petting zoo, games for kids, Hatchet Tossing. vendors and more!

Blueberry Season Mini-Market at Whitesbog
July 25, 10AM – 2PM
Blueberry Season celebrations continue with morning Blueberry Picking, Shopping with local makers, food and music in the village Picnic Grove. There will be picnic tables for social distancing, General Store shopping on the porch, and some great local makers with their wares. Support locals while staying outdoors.

Chester Food Truck & Music Festival
July 25, 11AM – 7PM
