The Dockside Diner in Spray Beach: Review

Looking for the cutest little diner in LBI? Well look no further than the Dockside Side Diner in Spray Beach.

Located over looking a dock (hence the name), the Dockside Diner is a small diner with a lot of character. The diner is opened seasonally for breakfast and lunch.

We arrived at the diner for breakfast hungry and in need in coffee.

Their menu features a fun spin on your favorite breakfast items. At the Dockside Diner you can find fun omelettes like the “BCN CHZ Burger” (chopped up burger, bacon, and cheese), a Corned Beef Hash omelette, and a Mighty Meat omelette featuring 4 kinds of meat including pork roll.

They also have Breakfast Nachos (which another table had…looked awesome), Cinnamon Bun French Toast(or pancakes!), the “Whatchamacallit” (pork roll rolled up in a pancake), a “Toaster Cake” (French toast wrapped in a pancake), and the “Jack Johnson” (banana pancakes with peanut butter chips).

Despite being temped by ALL of that, I ended up getting the healthiest thing I may have ever gotten at a diner…Oatmeal. I topped off my oatmeal with bananas, strawberries, and bananas to make it more colorful.

Next time you’re on the Island be sure to stop by the Dockside Diner for a delicious homemade meal. This may be one of my favorite diner breakfast spots so far! And if you’re feeling crazy, be sure to get Cara’s Cookie Butter Blend Milkshake.
