The Delesea Drive In – NJ’s Last Drive in Movie Theater

A long time ago, NJ used to have many drive-in movie theaters and now we only have one! However, it’s a great one!

I first discovered the Delsea Drive-In a few years ago for a new idea for a date night. I had been to drive-ins in PA while visiting friends, so I was excited that there was one that was closer to visit.

This weekend (Memorial Day Weekend) they are showing:

SCREEN 1-
X-Men: Days of Future Past 8:30 PM
Neighbors R 11:05 PM

SCREEN 2-
Godzilla 8:30 PM
Blended 11:00 PM

Here are things you need to know about the Delsea Drive-In:
– Admission is always for a double feature…sometimes a triple feature (if you can stay awake)
– There are two screens showing different movies
– Adults tickets are $10 and kids (3 to 11) are only $5 (yes, $10 for 2-3 movies!)
– They show movies rain or shine
– No outside food is permitted, but they have an awesome & cheap menu
– You can rent chairs and radios there
– No pets allowed, sorry Frankie
– You cannot switch screens, but you can leave after the first movie if you choose
– They are open Wednesday through Sunday during the summer, Friday and Saturday before Easter and after Labor Day, and Friday, Saturday, and Sunday between Easter and Memorial Day.
– Box office currently opens at 6/6:30 pm depend on the Season. Tickets sell out so get there early!
