Stay Up All Night Weekend with ART! – Art All Night, Trenton

Art All Night will return to New Jersey’s capital city this June 21 and 22, 2014 at the Roebling Wire Works facility located at 675 South Broad Street in Trenton. Now in its ninth year, the festival will present art, food, music, workshops, competitive arts events, and kid-friendly activities throughout a straight 24-hour period, beginning at 3pm on Saturday and continuing until 3pm on Sunday. Art All Night Trenton is free and open to the public.
This year, over 30,000 visitors are anticipated, with over 1,000 artists displaying works across a variety of mediums, over 50 musical acts, over 20 artisan craftmakers selling their creations, and dozens of workshops, family friendly events, and famous food vendors from around the state.
“We’re thrilled to return this year, with new and adventurous art at the core of Art All Night,” said Joseph Kuzemka, Art All Night Trenton’s Event Director and Creative Director. “Every year, this event gets bigger and better and more ambitious, and we’re excited to share a bold and sprawling set of beautiful, daring and cool works of art with you.”
Highlights of this year’s event include a mobile glass-blowing installation, designed by JMG Studios of Piscataway to be of-the-moment, dazzling and epic in its scope and beauty, and a “dueling muralists” creation of a giant, multi-artist mural. In 2013, four muralists of drastically different styles came together and created a giant and multifaceted “jam piece” of art themed around the scariest works of Edgar Allan Poe. This year, multiple artists will be thrown into collaborative creation of a multi-genre mural of “wicked, scary fairie tales,” created over the festival’s 24 hours.
