The 41st Annual ShadFest in Back in Lambertville April 20 & 21 – Rain or Shine!
In 1981, what began as a showcase for the local art scene evolved into a nationally recognized, award-winning event. ShadFest™, now in its 41st year, is set to take place on April 20th & 21st, offering two days filled with hand-crafted art, jewelry, home goods, delectable food, music, and fun for the whole family. The FREE event will take place rain or shine from 11 am – 5 pm both days.
PS. You can find New Jersey Isn’t Boring on the list of official vendors for the event.
ShadFest™ celebrates the annual return of Shad to the Delaware River in Lambertville. These fish journey from the Atlantic Ocean to spawn before returning to the ocean. Local residents can be found fishing for Shad on Lewis Island, the only remaining Shad fishery on the Delaware River.
Recognized as the “Best Event” by the Bucks County Herald, ShadFest™ has been a beloved tradition, drawing visitors from near and far. Lambertville’s charm and cultural richness were further highlighted when it was named “Best Destination 2023” by Jersey’s Best Magazine.
Attendees can explore a diverse array of offerings at ShadFest™. The Arts & Crafts section features hand-crafted art, jewelry, home accents, and treats for pets. The Home and Garden section offers a curated selection of goods for the home and garden, while Local’s Lane showcases treasures made by Lambertville area artists.
