Review: I Had a Blast @ Monster Jam – Get Your Tickets for Tonight!
Last night I got a chance to go to Monster Jam at the Izod Center with friends. I have never been to a Monster Jam event before and didn’t know what to expect.
First, we got a chance to go to the Party in the Pits which was really awesome since we got to see the trucks right up front. You know that they’re big in your mind, but when you see them up close you really get to take in huge they actually are. Respect to all the people who drive them.
Seeing the trucks was cool, but seeing the Grave Digger in person was a treat for me especially since prior to the event I got to interview the driver, Carl Van Horn. Read about it HERE.

After we took our seats, the actual event happened and you the audience was psyched. Monster Jam fans are really dedicated! People had signs and t-shirts…it was fun to be around them.
Seeing these huge trucks crush things and jump over things was an interesting experience. I will admit that I got into it…and I grabbed my friend’s arm a couple times because I was afraid the trucks would tip over after leaping over all those cars. But they didn’t..those guys are pros.
If you can go today definitely do. It was good, family fun and an experience I’ll never forget.
Also, be sure to root for my favorite car: The Crushstation. Such a cool truck AND their theme song is Rock Lobster by the B-52s!
