The Readington Diner in Whitehouse Station: Review
Unless I’m missing one, the Readington Diner in Whitehouse Station is the last diner to check off my list in Hunterdon County!
Located on Route 22 on the border of Readington and Whitehouse Station, sits the Readington Diner. This late night diner also offers a full menu of cocktails, wine, and beer.
Their menu is a typical diner menu which doesn’t feature anything too unique. Things that stood out to me on their menu included:
– A surprising list of special salads
– Authentic gyros
– A list of gourmet burgers
– Breakfast Skillets and Benedicts
– Granola Pancakes
– Cherry Jubilee French Toast
Ultimately I ended up getting a Cajun style chicken sandwich topped with guacamole on a whole wheat bun. I was not expecting two chicken breasts on my sandwich! It was a lot of food.
Although the prices at this diner are a little higher than average, you definitely end up getting what you paid for! I enjoyed this diner experience because it felt like the classic NJ diners I grew up with. No flash, no fuss, just good food!
