New Jersey Oktoberfests 2018:
2nd Annual Oktoberfest and International Food Festival
The Passaic County Board of Chosen Freeholders and Friends of Passaic County Parks are hosting the 2nd Annual Oktoberfest and International Food Festival on Saturday, September 22nd from 3 to 10 p.m. at the Garret Mountain Reservation Boat House, located at 8 Mountain Ave. in Woodland Park. Enjoy the food and heritage of Germany, as well as food from the various cultures that make Passaic County so diverse. The event will feature award-winning food trucks from across the state, as well as craft IPA beers brewed locally. Patrons can also enjoy live music and traditional Oktoberfest competitions, such as stein hoisting, keg stacking, corn hole, and tug-o-war. All proceeds benefit Friends of Passaic County Parks, which is a non-profit that advocates for preservation and enhancement of the local park system.

The 34th Annual Oktoberfest At Mountain Creek Resort

Nacho Fathas Oktoberfest BBQ
Nacho Fathas Oktoberfest BBQ will celebrate both the season, beer and (of course) BBQ in Northern New Jersey outdoors at Garden State Plaza. An array of BBQ vendors will be on hand selling smoked meats and sausages. Other food vendors will offer traditional Oktoberfest fare like potato pancakes and soft pretzels. Grab some brews from a seasonal biergarten featuring local craft breweries and German beer on tap. Other attractions and activities include music and games for the entire family plus fun contests, giveaways and more!

Hackettstown Oktoberfest 2018
Hackettstown is ready to celebrate their 3rd annual Hackettstown Oktoberfest!Czig Meister Brewing Company, Homebrew University Main Street, Man Skirt Brewing and Bea McNallys Irish Pub and Eatery will host activities, contests, craft vendors, music, drinks and food at their Platz through regular operating hours. This Oktoberfest is a family friendly event; there’s a kids’ costume contest category and other non-alcohol related activities.

Oktoberfest
Celebrate the famous Bavarian tradition in Cape May the festival will be located on Carpenter Lane between Decatur & Jackson and continue down Jackson Street to Beach Ave. as it is transformed into a German promenade with authentic music and food. Visit the Beer Gardens and Food Courts browse the artisans tables selling crafts, antiques and collectibles.

Downtown Somerville’s Oktoberfest
Annual Oktoberfest Celebration, brought to you by Tapastre and Project PUB.Eat, drink and be merry! Local craft beers and traditional Oktoberfest brews will be on hand, along with plenty of food from local restaurants and live music from awesome bands throughout the day. Featuring plenty of amazing Oktoberfest style beers, along with mead, cider, sangria and pumpkin beers. 2 large tents will house plenty of seating for you to hang out and enjoy some delicious food being provided by several local Somerville restaurants. Competitions throughout the day on Saturday including a Stein Holding Contest and a Brat Eating Competition sponsored by Court House Subs.

Ales ‘N Tails Oktoberfest
Hosted by New Jersey’s #1 Zoo, Ales ‘N Tails Oktoberfest supporters are able to enjoy a live Oompah Band and sample dozens and dozens of seasonal brews from around the corner and around the world, all set to the backdrop of the beautiful Essex County Turtle Back Zoo (560 Northfield Avenue, West Orange, NJ 07052). In addition to traditional music and beers there will be local craft and food vendors on site. Ales ‘N Tails is a benefit for the Essex County Parks Foundation.

Chester Lion Club’s 20th Annual Oktoberfest Weekend
The Chester Lions Club Oktoberfest is a family event. Live music, entertainers, bounce houses and other inflatables, games, a climbing wall, and other activities are available for them to enjoy. The Chester Lions Club food tent offers a variety of authentic German food including bratwurst, German potato salad, sauerkraut, smoked pork chops, apple strudel, delicious beehive cake and authentic plum cake, and more. Hod dogs, ice-cream, funnel cakes, and more are also available on site. And of course…beer!

The Little Falls PBA #346 will be hosting its Annual Oktober Family Festival. Gourmet Food Trucks, NJ Craft Beer,Live Music, Craft Vendors and Kids Play Area will make for a fantastic Fall Day. Face painting, Rock climbing Wall are just some of the activities available for kids. Event is CoSponsored by the Little Falls Shop-Rite and J&M Towing.
