The OB Diner in Point Pleasant, NJ: Review
The OB Diner is an old fashioned diner that offers American & Greek classics from early in the morning until late at night. I visited this diner during brunch time with my good friend and fellow New Jersey diner enthusiast, Hollie aka FueledbyLOLZ.com.
Located close to this beach, this diner is convenient to the activity of downtown Point Pleasant and close to Jenkinson’s boardwalk.
Included in their decor is painted driftwood made as art, light fixtures…
and adorning their really cute diner counter.
The diner has your typical diner food with some items that were unique. Some items I found interesting on their menu include:
– Oreo Cookie Pancakes
– Hawaiian Waggle
– Homemade Onion Rings
– Homemade Soups
– Lots of Greek delights like pastichio, mousaka, and spanakopita
– BBQ Ribs
– Specialty coffees like a Caramel Macchiato, Chocolate Raspberry Truffle Cappaccino, and a Greek Frappe
– Baklava for dessert
Hollie decided to get something healthy, as she usually does, with the Albuquerque Grilled Salmon Salad. Look how happy she is with it! PS. This is how all of us bloggers look when we take food photos.
I ended up with the Grand Burrito, a burrito filled with grilled chicken, black beans and rice with pico de gallo, sour cream, and guacamole on the side. Sooo good.
Overall a lovely time at the OB Diner! They have a decent sized menu with affordable prices in a great location.
