147th Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Festival
Now – July 16
The Our Lady of Mount Carmel Society of Hammonton will be holding their 147th Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Festival from Monday, July 11th through Saturday, July 16th, located at the festival grounds on Mt Carmel Lane. The Hammonton Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Festival is the longest running Italian festival in the country and features live music and DJ entertainment each night, plenty of mouth watering food and treats, beer garden, carnival midway with exciting rides and games for all ages by Amusements of America, Wall of Death motorcycle thrill show (back by popular demand!), and a whole lot more! On the feast day, July 16th, there will be a procession through the streets of Hammonton starting at 4pm. At night, the festival will feature a spectacular fireworks display at 10pm.

Newark Pride 17th Annual LGBTQ Festival
Now – July 17
Hosted in the heart of downtown Newark, Newark’s Gay Pride events are hosted in an area brimming with activities, attractions and adventures! These events increase awareness of the city and its vast culture, while increasing revenue and visibility for corporate sponsors and local businesses alike. Indeed, Newark Gay Pride offers a unique opportunity to view the ways Newark’s LGBTQ community is flourishing concurrently with the city’s cultural and economic boom. From thriving cultural institutions like NJPAC, Prudential Arena and The Newark Museum to a variety of new restaurants, hotels, and luxury apartments that are transforming the downtown area – Newark is on the rise.

Ocean County Fair

After a year of the Ocean County Fair being canceled, it’s back this year better than ever for 2022. There is always so much to do at the Ocean County Fair, but truly it’s all about the 4H and the amazing animals. The 4H tent has so much going on with games, prizes, and learning from the people that take care and raise these animals. Unlimited ride wristbands are available for each day of the fair.

Mount Carmel Festival 2022
July 13 – 17, 6PM – 11PM Each Day
The Berkley Heights Mt. Carmel Society will hold their annual Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel from Wednesday, July 13th, through Sunday, July 17th, located at the Mt. Carmel Field on Springfield Ave & River Rd. An annual tradition for over 110 years, this five-day festival features a midway with carnival rides and games for all ages by Amusements of America, live entertainment each night, a beer & wine garden, plenty of delicious food, and fun for the entire family! Fireworks displays by Garden State Fireworks will be held on two nights with the Family Night mini fireworks display on July 15th at 9:30 pm, and the famous Fireworks Spectacular on July 16th at 10 pm.

Rootstock Vineyard Concert Series

Blueberry Summer Fest – Plants and Creatures of the Pines
July 16, 10AM – 3PM
Blueberry Harvest Season in the Birthplace of the Blueberry! (For real, Elizabeth Coleman White and Dr. Frederick Coville developed the first crop of blueberries here in 1916). Support this wonderful volunteer-led effort to raise awareness and funds for the restoration and preservation of this National Register Historic Village and to promote blueberry and cranberry farms in South Jersey. Each week will have a different theme including Living History, etc. The Whitesbog Blueberry Festival is an old-fashioned country fair set in the Pine Barrens historic village with museums, historic homes, a General Store, tractor-pulled wagon rides to the blueberry field to pick heirloom berries, local handmade craft vendors, and local folk music, with berries for sale from a local blueberry farm.

Butterfly Festival

Bloomfield Center Food Tour

Bloomfield Center Alliance is preparing for its 1st Food Tour of the summer on Saturday, July 16, 2022, from 2-4:30 PM. The rich menu of samples has flavors from all over the world – with new cuisine and some classic recipes. This adventure for foodies through Bloomfield Center’s business district will include a guided walking tour, stopping at four restaurants for scrumptious bites. The event will provide an opportunity for guests to connect with chefs and owners and have a one-of-a-kind dining experience. The food-filled trek will begin at Bloomfield’s historic Lackawanna Train Station. A lively, experienced guide will lead the tour along with staff from the Bloomfield Center Alliance sharing information on the history of the area alongside updates on events and new developments within Bloomfield Center.

Drive-In Movie Nights at Billian Legion Park

Billian Legion Park hosts summer movie nights, complete with themes, giveaways, and refreshments. The movies are free, but registration is required. You are welcome to bring chairs and sit outside your vehicle. Gates open at 7:15pm for parking. The movie will start between 8:30pm and 8:50pm depending on sunset as it needs to be dark enough to see the picture on the screen.

An outdoor, fun-filled day of relaxing fun on the grounds of Laurita Winery — a great place to enjoy outstanding wines with friends and family.
