This highly anticipated program serves to engage residents, visitors, and restaurant owners alike over signature dishes. For a more complete local experience, attendees are encouraged to visit nearby shopping districts, parks, and cultural sites. 45th Annual Greek Festival
May 19 – 22

World-famous cuisine, culture, music, and hospitality. There will be fun for the entire family including carnival games, cooked and grilled food, desserts and pastries, ouzo, beer, and live Greek music and dancing.

New Jersey Seafood Festival
May 20 – 22

This popular family-friendly event offers an ultimate feast of crowd-pleasing fare — from gumbo, lobster rolls, and jambalaya, to coconut shrimp, crab legs, conch fritters, and more.
In addition to some great seafood, live music is also a big part of the Belmar Seafood Festival. The lineup of bands includes popular area musicians performing live during all three days of the festival.

Exciting performances and engaging activities await area children at the 2022 World Diversity Day Children’s Festival on Saturday, May 21st. The family-friendly outdoor event, with storytellers, sing-alongs, dancing, crafts, choirs, book giveaways, and more, will celebrate diverse cultural diversity while teaching acceptance of others. It takes place from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at Lake Topanemus Park in Freehold. Explore diverse ethnicities, abilities, and identities in a fun-filled outdoor atmosphere. The festival – which is free and open to the public – will have interactive programs and activities ideal for 5 to 10-year-olds plus opportunities for adults to connect with community resources or register to vote. NJ Fibershed Barn Crawl

A weekend of fiber immersion located at farms throughout New Jersey. Meeting local fiber producers and artisans using locally sourced materials will be the focus of these two weekends. Best of all you’ll be able to visit NJ farms where local fiber is being produced! Each farm will have varying activities from visiting with sheep, shearing, spinning and weaving demos, fiddlers as well as local vendors. And if that wasn’t enough, there will be a daily raffle of goods from these host farms and visiting artisans. You’ll get one raffle ticket for each farm visited each day. So…. the more farms you visit in a day the greater your chances of winning!
