Anglesea Nights

Anglesea Nights is a dynamic evening festival series transforming the North Wildwood Entertainment District into a vibrant celebration of street food, artistry, and good times on select Thursday nights this summer from 5 pm – 10 pm (July 2, July 16, July 30 & August 13, 2026). The event features a curated selection of the region’s top food trucks and unique merchandise vendors, combined with a rotating roster of roaming street performers, including stilt walkers, puppeteers and jugglers, setting the tone for unforgettable evenings of family fun.

Celebrate our Stars & Stripes – Concert & Fireworks
July 2, 6 pm – 10 (The rain date is July 3)
This celebration features a 25-minute fireworks program over the Raritan Bay. The launch will have over 3,000 shells and effects, including glittering, strobe, and whistling, with various colors synchronized to a patriotic musical compilation produced by Garden State Fireworks. The best views to enjoy the Celebrate Stars & Stripes Fireworks Spectacular Show will be from Sadowski Parkway in Perth Amboy, the Raritan Bay Waterfront Park in South Amboy,

Freedom Jam
July 3, 4 pm – 9 pm
Freedom Jam returns to Atlantic Avenue for a patriotic summer block party with homegrown charm and regional appeal. Celebrating 250 years of freedom in style with a drone show at dusk. $2.50 of every cup sold will be donated in direct support of local NJ farmers that suffered devastating crop loss due to the 2026 freeze.

Pop’s Farm Market is fundraising for the Wounded Warrior’s Project this summer at their Red, White & Brews event! Join them and Old Hights Brewing Co. for a night full of good music, lawn games, cornhole, bonfires, and more! A portion of ticket sales and 50/50 raffle proceeds will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project. Laser Light Show and Fireworks

The Independence Day Light Show is a world class computerized lighting and music show followed by an impressive fireworks display. Produced by Raising4 Inc. and the Borough of Belmar, the event celebrates our nations independence and the veterans who protect our freedom. The show is free, and is produced at no cost, to encourage donation to Rebuilding Warriors.

Smithville’s Annual 4th of July Parade
July 4, 9 am
Come out and celebrate our nation’s birthday at Historic Smithville! Home to the largest Fourth of July parade in all of New Jersey, this beloved tradition draws an estimated 10,000 spectators along the parade route each year. The parade steps off at 9:00 a.m. If you’re interested in participating in the Fourth of July Parade, pre-registration is required. Make a full day of the celebration at Historic Smithville, featuring 60 charming shoppes, 7 eateries, a carousel ride, train ride, paddle boats, and on-site lodging at the Colonial Inn. With over 26 free weekend events throughout the year, there’s always something to enjoy for the whole family.

A Revolutionary Celebration: Independence Day on the Raritan
July 4, 10 am – 4 pm
Join General George Washington, the Marquis de Lafayette, and Baron von Steuben for a commemoration of the feu de joie (fire of joy) that took place on the banks of the Raritan River on July 4th, 1778. The day begins with A Revolutionary Celebration Run. Bring a blanket or a chair and enjoy patriotic-themed concerts on the front lawn. Listen to 18th-century music and hear stories from General George Washington, the Marquis de Lafayette, and Baron von Steuben at the Three Mile Run Church.

This is a free public event featuring activities at Morven Museum & Garden and the Princeton Battlefield State Park. Stop by Morven any time between 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. for activities and artmaking with community partners; garden tours; face painting; music from the Vintage Vibe Tribe; food trucks; a chance to sign the Declaration of Independence; and more. A short distance away, check out the Princeton Battlefield State Park where you can visit the historic Clarke House and hear a reading of the Declaration of Independence at 1:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

This all day fun family event, with crowds in the hundreds of thousand, have turned out for the most memorable sights, sounds and sensations of the summer season. Celebrate Independence Day at the Freedom Festival on July 4 with an unforgettable night of live music and fireworks. Taking the Roland Traynor River Stage at 8 PM, The Commodores will bring their signature blend of funk, soul, and R&B to the waterfront.
