LSC After Dark: Party for the Planet
April 24, 6 pm – 10 pm

Join the movement to make the physical world a better place! At this #LSCAfterDark event, Liberty Science Center is hosting a Party for the Planet. Guests can explore how both small local businesses and large national companies are working toward a more sustainable future. Enjoy delicious food, catch an exciting show, and dance the night away—all while learning how to take action for the Earth. After all, there is no planet B—so it’s up to everyone to make the most of the one we’ve got.

Northeast Earth Coalition Earth Day Celebration

Cape May Earth Day Celebration

The Cape May County Park and Zoo is the ideal spot for a day packed with fun and discovery, especially during this year’s Earth Day Celebration themed “Seas the Moment: Protect Our Oceans.” This free, family-friendly event runs from 10 AM to 3 PM and offers hands-on educational exhibits, nature walks, live entertainment, eco-friendly vendors, and the opportunity to explore the zoo. Silver Lake Clean-Up

In honor of Earth Day, the Belmar Environmental Commission is seeking volunteers to help clean up Silver Lake on Saturday, April 26th, from 11 AM to 1 PM. Volunteers are encouraged to wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing. If you’re unable to join during the scheduled time, you can still make a difference—consider bringing a trash bag during your next visit to the lake and help keep the area clean by picking up any litter or debris you find. Every little bit helps!

The ACUA’s 33rd Annual Earth Day Festival offers a full day of educational and interactive fun, with exhibits, hands-on activities, crafts, food, live entertainment, vendors, and more. Attendees can take part in workshops—like learning how to care for indoor plants—or explore over 150 engaging booths. The event will be held rain or shine, so come prepared to celebrate no matter the weather.

Spring Festival and Earth Day Celebration
April 27, 11 am – 4 pm

This event combines the best of two worlds-A Spring Festival with a Colonial Life Theme, and an Earth Day Celebration. Admission and parking are free. Activities include seeds and seedling give-away, a farm animal petting zoo, free kids crafts and games, live music, the Colonial Conjuror magic show, Colonial Lifeways Demonstrations such as glassblowing, weaving, spinning, hearth cooking and more. Tours of the battlefield and of the Whitall House are ongoing. There will be a presentation on NJ Pollution Reduction, and information on Pollinator Support from the Gloucester Co. Certified Gardeners. Join the Pollinator Pitstop Crew and have your garden registered on our map! Local Craft Vendors and Food Trucks will be onsite as well.

Party Like It’s Your Earth Day!

Join Sustainable Princeton and Morven Museum & Garden for a day of sustainable, Earth-friendly fun. Enjoy yoga on the lawn with Gemma from Gratitude Yoga, garden tours of Morven’s historic gardens, a “Trashion” fashion show, DJ Myricks, community educational organizations, an all-ages book swap, a Helpsy Clothing drive, food trucks, prizes and so much more.

Earth Day Celebration & Music Festival

Join for a day filled with earth-friendly fun and music at the Earth Day Celebration & Music Festival! This event will be held at Hoboken’s beautiful Monroe Center Plaza at 770 Jackson St , where there will be live music from local bands, delicious food trucks, live animal encounters, upcycled arts & crafts, fitness demos and eco-friendly vendors showcasing their products.

Earth Fair
April 27, 11 am – 4 pm

Attendees can immerse themselves in nature, learn about plant care, land stewardship, and personal well-being while being entertained by musicians, storytellers, presenters, and artists at Earth Fair in Historic Smithville Park. The event focuses on recycling and reusing items at home and in the garden, offering activities like dropping off plastic flowerpots and participating in a Plant Swap tent. Visitors can also explore the Recycling & Clean Communities Tent, featuring a new “Recycling Center Virtual Tour” video. Other highlights include Wheelie Good Smoothies, live music from bands like April, Mae, and the June Bugs, presentations and demos on topics such as wildlife gardening and mushroom growing, an Artisan Marketplace with upcycled goods, a Pop-Up Nature Center, kid’s activities like storytelling and the Recycle Olympics, and a variety of food trucks and a beer garden.

Montclair’s Earth Fest

Earth Fest’s mission is to raise awareness and drive action in safeguarding the planet’s natural resources, ecosystems, and biodiversity. Holmdel’s Earth Day Festival
April 27, 12 pm – 5 pm

Holmdel’s Earth Day Festival and Greenway Walk will be held on Sunday, April 28, 2024 at beautiful historic Bayonet Farm. Admission, shows, tours and parking are FREE! The event is sponsored by the Holmdel Environmental Commission and CILU (Citizens for Informed Land Use). Arrive early before 11AM for a 2 mile Greenway walk, led by the pros! Enjoy the many exhibits, shows and activities for the whole family throughout the day.
