Fire & Ice Festival – January 27th
Once again on Saturday January 27, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM downtown Mount Holly will be the place to warm your tummy and see lots of artistic eye candy while having plenty of free family friendly fun. The ice carvers will transform 300 pound blocks of ice into beautiful crystalline works of art, throughout town, beginning at 10:00 and continuing until 4:00 p.m. Plan to spend the day in Mount Holly on January 27, 2018 for this free family friendly fun event with lots of photo ops so be sure post your photos on social media with the hashtag #FandINJ.

2018 Atlantic City Weekly Wing Wars – January 27th
Eighteen South Jersey eateries, bars and restaurants – up from 15 in 2017 – will compete for ultimate wing supremacy at Atlantic City Weekly’s Wing Wars II Noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 27, and all-you-can-eat wing extravaganza, presented by 103.7 WMGM Rocks. There will be rockin’ music by the legendary LeCompt, professional, blind judging to declare the overall Wing King, a move to Golden Nugget’s more spacious Grand Ballroom and a new VIP session. Admission includes unlimited wings and dipping sauces from all 18 restaurants, live music from LeCompy – provided by 103.7 WMGM Rocks – killer drink specials, giveaways, contests and much, much more! The $40* VIP Session includes early access from noon to 1 p.m. and a very clucking cool Wing Wars T-shirt.

Asbury Park Beer Fest – January 27th & 28th
The Asbury Park Beerfest is back: Saturday, January 27th (2 Sessions # 1 Noon-4pm & # 2 6-10pm) and Sunday, January 28th (1 Session Noon-4pm) at Convention Hall, Asbury Park! Spice of Life Event: Spiced Up Beer & Organ Donation Awareness – January 28th
The 4th Annual Spice of Life Event – Featuring Spiced Up Beers! Drink for a Cause, Help Raise Money & Register To Be An Organ Donor! This event will have specialty made “spiced up” beers, including Lady #8 (Our What the Butler Saw brewed with Watermelon, Basil & Spiced with Dragon Cayenne, Jalapeno & Habanero Peppers), 1916 Shore Shiver with Szechuan Peppercorns, Lemongrass & Thai Chili Peppers, Mexican Coffee Funnel Cake, Growler’s Spicy Mole Stout, Mr. Watson White IPA Spiced with Clove, as well as two brand new beers from Forgotten Boardwalk’s Curiosity Series: Session IPA Spiced with Pomelo Zest & a Berliner Weiss Sour with lemonade, cucumber, cayenne & lemon zest.

Wassailing the Apple Trees – January 28th
Terhune Orchards hosts the Wassailing party with activities, which include singing and dancing and playing of primitive instruments, toasts of hot cider and placing gifts of cider-soaked bread in the tree branches while chanting the lively words of praise and New Year. Wassailing is an old English tradition where people would gather in the apple orchard and perform rituals to drive away the evil spirits and ensure a successful apple crop next year. Warm yourself next to our bonfire (marshmallows included) or in our store. Live music will be performed all afternoon in the farm store. The festivities are free and open to the public, young and old.
