Become a real life cast member of the Walking Dead by participating in one of these New Jersey Zombie Walks for 2019! Put on your best zombie make up and your bloody attire my attending these fun events throughout the Garden State. Points for being creative!

Asbury Park Zombie Walk
October 5, 4PM – 8PM
The Asbury Park Zombie Walk is celebrating it’s 12 year anniversary! The NJZW took has set the Guinness World Record for the “Largest gathering of zombies” two separate times. In 2010 the record was claimed with 4,093 undead counted on the Asbury Park Boardwalk. The record was later reclaimed in 2013 with 9,592 participants. Annual Asbury Park Zombie Walk holds the record for the World’s largest gathering of Zombies! Enjoy festivities & music taking place through downtown & along the boardwalk, then end your day with “blood red” fireworks show along the ocean front.

2nd Annual Long Valley First Aid Squad Zombie 5k
October 12, 10AM

Enjoy an autumn day in beautiful Long Valley! Walk, run or stroll the 5K course where zombies roam. A perfect outing for adults, students and families – come in costume if you dare. Prizes will also be awarded for best costume in individual and family categories. All proceeds benefit the Long Valley First Aid Squad in its mission to serve the citizens of Washington Township and help neighboring communities. Long Valley First Aid Squad has provided 60 years of all-volunteer service, 24/7 Emergency medical care, vehicle and technical rescue services are all done by our volunteers. Funds raised go primarily to equipment and training.

Spooktacular Almost 4 Mile Run Run & Zombie Walk
October 19, 11AM – 3PM

Beat the Heat Special! Longing for a cool fall breeze today? Think ahead and plan on joining Stomp the Monster at this awesome fall event – the 5th Annual Spooktacular Almost 4 Mile Run Run! This year for the walkers they are featuring a 2 Mile Zombie Walk! And as always the after party continued at Leggetts Sand Bar with the endless buffet, raffles & costume prizes

Highlands Zombie Walk
October 19, sign up begins at 8AM, Parade at 12PM

Come to Huddy Park dressed in your most ghoulish Zombie Attire. Make-up artists will be available at 8AM in Huddy Park to complete your transformation! (Optional purchase, see below). DJ Johnny will be spinning spooky tunes to set the mood! The parade begins promptly at 12PM. Immediately following the parade, there will be a costume contest at Veterans Park with prizes! You must be registered to be judged in the following categories:

Historic Smithville’s Zombie Walk
October 26, 10AM – 6:30PM (Rain Date Nov 2)
That’s not the undead walking the streets of Galloway Twp.. it’s Smithville’s annual Zombie Walk! On October 26th (rain date Nov. 2) the residents of Galloway Township and the surrounding areas find their way to Smithville either in full zombie gear or ready to be painted to look like a zombie (for a small fee).

Frenchtown Zombie Crawl
October 26, 12PM – 4PM
The original River Town Zombie Crawl is unlike any in the region! Frenchtown makeup “pros” transform the living into the Living Dead right before your very eyes! Scavenger hunt through town and put your own twist on your favorite Zombie oeuvre. Dress in your deadly best to participate in the well esteemed zombie contest.
