New Jersey Winter Wine Festivals to Cure Your Winter Blues!
Brrr it’s cold! Why not warm up with wine? This season is a perfect time to visit and support your local vineyards and wineries. There are plenty of fun events going on from this weekend throughout the rest of Winter. Be sure to put these New Jersey Winter Wine Festivals and Events on your Calendar!
Barefoot Grape Stomp at Four Sisters Winery – January 20th
It’s Stomping Time! Yes, it’s Barefoot Grape Stomping! A bit of nostalgia, a tasting of wine, something to do with friends for a special time! Formal wine tasting, Italian spaghetti with meatballs, garden salad, bread, dessert, coffee, tea and sweet tea. An educational wine cellar tour describes the processes of wine making and then off with the shoes and socks for the ever-popular Barefoot Grape Stomping. Complimentary wine glass included $35 pp, plus tax & service fee.

Bellview Winery’s Winter Wine Weekend – January 20th & 21st
On January 20th and 21st Bellview Winery will be ringing in the new year with their annual Winter Wine Weekend. Beat cabin fever with wine tasting, special platters just for the weekend, the sounds of acoustic guitar in the tasting room and a toasty bonfire to get rid of that winter chill! Think about bringing friends and family along, because attending this event is free! Wine tasting is optional at $6 for 8 tastes and a souvenir glass to bring home.

Valenzano Winery’s 4th Annual Cake Off – January 20th & 21st
The holiday season slips by, leaving many of us recuperating and rebounding from heavy schedules and endless errands. Cake Off 2018 will offer a variety of familiar favorites that hit the spot and bind to the wine just right – as well as a few new recipes for friends, family, and guests. Gather round for a sip and a nip, and prepare to indulge in a perfect symphony of beautiful baked goodness.

Murder Mystery Dinner at Four Sisters Winery – January 28th
The murders continue at Four Sisters Winery! It’s just for fun during our Murder Mystery Dinners. The event begins with a formal wine tasting, followed by a delicious dinner of Baked Ziti, Meatballs, Garden Salad, Bread & Dessert. And, now it’s time for an unraveling plot, a victim, a murderer, and a cast of characters. Let’s not forget the detectives! The cast of characters are selected and the mayhem begins. Through the process; great fun and a twisted story line leaves everyone guessing. Let’s add a little spice to the event, you can embellish to your hearts content. Complimentary wine glass included $35 pp, plus tax & service fee.

Renew Your Vows at Laurita Winery – February 10th
Show them your happily-ever-after is still going strong!! Renew your wedding vows at Laurita Winery! “Say: ‘I Do’, Again” is a non-denominational service performed by Wedding Officiant Dave Turner. Arrive by 1pm to check in, receive your carnation for the ladies and shot of Chocolate Therapy for the gentlemen, and relax. Music begins at 1:30 pm, with the ceremony beginning promptly at 2pm. Pre-registration is REQUIRED by Feb. 9th!

NJSWA’s Wine and Chocolate Weekend – February 10th & 11th
Take that special someone out for a real treat in advance of Valentine’s Day at NJSWA’s member wineries where wine tasting, special chocolate pairings and more will be on the docket as part of the Garden State Wine Growers Association’s annual Wine & Chocolate Wine Trail Weekend Feb 10 and 11 throughout New Jersey from noon to 5 p.m.
