New Jersey Summer Festivals June 2023:

The North To Shore Jersey festival
June 4 – 11 (Atlantic City) June 14 – 18 (Asbury Park) June 21 – 25 (Newark)
This month-long New Jersey festival features all the talent, diversity and creativity this great state has to offer. Hosted by three incredible and unique cities, Atlantic City (June 4–11), Asbury Park (June 14–18) and Newark (June 21–25), the North To Shore festival will bring together 50+ venues for an over-the-top showcase of Jersey-wide. In addition to many rising stars, they will be joined by global headliners like Halsey, Santana, Bill Burr, Jay Wheeler, Stephen Colbert, Alanis Morissette, Marisa Monte, Demi Lovato, Daymond John, Natalie Merchant, The Smithereens, Southside Johnny, Brian Fallon of Gaslight Anthem and more. This lineup highlights New Jersey’s own and those who know that our state is the place to be seen

Annual Bayshore Greek Fest
June 8 – 11
Enjoy a taste of Greek Culture with Greek food, pastry, specialty items, folk dancing, music, rides, games, and prizes. Some of the mouth-watering gourmet menu items include traditional lamb shanks, pastitsio, moussaka, cheese and spinach pies (tiropites and spanakopites) and so much more! Complimenting the food is the culture of Greece. Festival goers will have the chance to partake in and also watch traditional Greek folk dances that are performed by costumed children from the various Kimisis dance groups. Music and entertainment is presented all weekend long. Free parking is provided at the St. Benedict’s Catholic Church, a half mile from Kimisis Tis Theotokou, and a free shuttle transports visitors to the festival. On-site parking is available for visitors who need easy access to the festival.

Annual Flemington Opa! Festival
June 9 – 11 (Rain or shine)
Enjoy Greek food, shopping, fun, and entertainment. Guests can dine indoors or outside under the tent, enjoying classic oven baked items and popular grill selections such as souvlaki and gyros. Greek pastries, coffee, wine and beer also available. All can enjoy carnival games, shopping, and folk dancing entertainment. Among the many charities supported, this year the parish is also fundraising to support the building of the St. Nicholas National Shrine at Ground Zero. Parking is free.

The Passaic County Book Festival
June 10, 11 am – 4 pm
The Passaic County Book Festival will be an all-day event, featuring local authors, scholars, and poets across every genre. The event is a county-wide event that aims to promote and bring awareness to the arts and community through exchanging ideas, encouragement of continued research and creative expression, and the promotion of your local libraries. The County is partnered with PALS Plus to bring lectures, programs, and activities for all ages, centered around the written word. There will be games, activities, and author presentations all throughout the day

Pride Fest in the Park
June 10, 12 pm – 7 pm
The 1st Annual Pride Fest in the Park will take place Saturday, June 10th, 12-7pm, in Huddy Park, Highlands. (GPS 301 Shore Dr. Highlands, 07732) Rain date 6/11. Pride Fest will include live music and entertainment, food vendors, specialty vendors, and a wine and beer garden. Admission and parking are free

Rock Hunger V
June 10, 2 pm
A high-energy music festival, featuring several well-respected local bands. Groove along with great performances from The Attic, The Sticky Wickets, The Porch Rockers, and Mother Hubbard. Cash bar, menu available, tricky tray prizes and 50/50 raffle are available to attendants. All proceeds benefit NFSB programs including the Food Pantry.

7th Annual TD Bank Food Truck Festival
June 10, 4 pm – 8 pm
This family event feature a variety of the best food trucks from New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. Over 20 food trucks are expected, in addition to vendors, music, on-track action, and more! Tthere will be plenty of food available for purchase – but that goes without saying. Guests are encouraged to bring their own seating – lawn chairs, blankets, etc. – for maximum enjoyment of the festival! Please note that the majority of the festival will be held on grass, not asphalt like in years past.

New Jersey Renaissance Faire
June 10 & 11, 10 am – 6 pm
A Renaissance Faire is a unique and magical phenomenon with this event featuring the English Renaissance version. There are six formal stages of entertainment with shows for the young and young-in-spirit, but truth be told, the entire Village of Crossford is a stage – and the show begins upon entering the castle gates! If you thought you would just sit through some droll rendition of a 16th century tale at the New Jersey Renaissance Faire, you are mistaken! Colorful characters, charming artists and playful scenes are all center stage during this year’s all-outdoor Faire. Walk through the gates and discover what many of us already know – the live interaction at this Faire is part of the fun! Outdoor improvisational theatre surrounds you throughout the magical shire of Crossford. There are dozens of scheduled shows, as well many that ‘pop up’ right before your eyes on the village paths.

Annual Irish Festival
June 11, 11 am – 5 pm
The Annual New Jersey Irish Festival is back! Start off with a traditional Irish mass at 11am. Plus, an exciting day of live racing, Irish foods, vendors, dancing, music, and more 12-5pm. Don’t miss the annual Human Horse Race as we cheer on our friends while raising money for a great cause. FREE Family Fun Day activities – including clowns, face painters, pony rides and a bounce house – take place from 12-4pm in the picnic area.

47th Annual Polish Heritage Festival
June 11 ,9 am – 3 pm
Indulge in a delectable feast of traditional Polish food, marvel at the exquisite craftsmanship of vintage automobiles at the Antique Car Show, and delight in specially tailored children’s entertainment. Immerse yourself in the rhythm and grace of Polish dance performances, explore a diverse array of gifts and exhibits showcasing Poland’s cultural treasures, and browse the bustling Polish vendor marketplace for authentic products and souvenirs. Barefoot Country Music Fest
June 15 – 18 (rain or shine)
This is the Northeast’s largest outdoor country music festival hosting a unique blend of country music’s top artists and up-and-comers. It features 40+ of Country’s hottest artists across 5 unique stages on the shores of Wildwood, NJ. This years line-up includes: Blake Shelton, Kid Rock, Darius Rucker, Jon Pardi, Riley Green, Parker McCollum, Lady A, and many more!

Tri-County Fair
June 15 – 18
Held on their 107 acre site, the Tri-County Fair will feature free family entertainment such as; family friendly music, a spectacular fireworks show on Friday, a complimentary live musical showcase where local bands will display their talents and entertain fair-goers an old time car show complete with 50’s music, monster truck rides, and much more.

Hop Sauce Festival
June 17, 11 am – 5 pm
HopSauce Festival is a craft beer and hot sauce festival set to the soundtrack of an eclectic mix of original live artists. It’s become a favorite of traditional LBI summertime families and a new generation’s appreciation for great food, drink, music and art.

NJ Beer & Food Festival
June 17, 3 pm – 7 pm
Crystal Springs Resort is proud to host the New Jersey Beer & Food Festival — the ultimate weekend for beer lovers. Don’t miss the king of NJ beer events, sponsored by Paul Miller Auto Group. Burlington Freedom Day: A Juneteenth Celebration
June 17 & 18, 2 pm to 7 pm
The kick-off event will be held on Saturday with great music, food, vendors, and our Kid’s Zone that includes FREE lunch as well as FREE crafts, games, and activities for all of the children. “Praise on the Promenade: A Gospel Music Celebration” will be held on Sunday to close out the events for 2023. Varied performances, special guests, great food, and music will be the focus of the day. Feel free to bring your blankets and chairs so that you can lounge on the lawn and enjoy all that the day has to offer.

Beardfest
June 22 – 25
Beardfest is a festival that celebrates the creative spirit in all of us. Enjoy more than 30 bands on two stages, take part in more than 40 interactive workshops, take a dip in a beautiful lake, and camp under the stars…all in an expansive Pinelands campground complete with a lake and hiking trails.

State Fair Meadowlands

The State Fair Meadowlands is dedicated to providing the best value in family entertainment. With over 100 rides, free shows, 50 food options, awesome fireworks displays on Monday July 3rd, & Tuesday, July 4th, and more! The Fair has something for all ages.

Rock, Ribs & Ridges Festival
June 23 – 25
Southern Rock and Southern Cooking return to North Jersey as this annual summer fest expands to 3 days! The biggest names in music. The nation’s top pitmasters will be serving up mouthwatering BBQ including ribs, brisket, pulled pork and great comfort food such as cornbread and mac & cheese. Weekend camping, RV, and reserved group seating add to the enjoyment and festival experience presented by Franklin Sussex Automall.

Margate Beachstock
June 24, 8 am – 10 pm(Rain date is June 26th)
This event features mouthwatering food, unique handmade crafts and featured retailers and sponsors will all be a part of this year’s event. Sand sculpting lessons with Matthew Deibert, Margate Fire Departments Cool Blast, Kid’s Treasure Hunt, limbo contests, surf lessons with Stacey’s Surf Camp, Air Circus Kite Shop single/double line stunt kite demonstrations and lessons, and WAWA Margate giveaways. The Margate City Police Department will be at their tent providing valuable public information and give aways.The activities take place on the beach between Huntington and Granville Avenues with food and beverages set up in the parking lot of the Martin Bloom Pavilion. Red Bull Foam Wreckers Soft Board Surf Classic will be alongside Beachstock Saturday, June 24! The anti-surf contest surf contest 2023 tour arrives in Margate where only soft boards, friends and fun are allowed.

Fox Park – Live Art Festival
June 24, 10 am – 6 pm
This event features an enjoyable family day out with a diverse collection of emerging artists exhibiting and selling their handcrafted works of art, from inspired paintings, decorative ceramics, novel jewelry, and more. There will be crafting demonstrations, hands-on family art activities, performing arts, stand-up comedy, and a beer station. There will also be a variety of gourmet food vendors and specialty food trucks as well. This festival offers something exciting for everyone.

Blues Wine & BBQ
June 24 & 25, 12 pm – 5 pm

Montville Independence Day Celebration
June 28 – 30, 5 pm – 9:30 pm
This three day family event features carnival rides, live music, rides, food, eating contests, and a fireworks display.
Fireworks will take place on Friday, June 30th, at dusk.
