The Art of John Lennon – June 18 – 22
Ocean Galleries is thrilled to present the extraordinary works of John Lennon. An unparalleled collection, “The Art of John Lennon” will be on exhibit and available for acquisition from Thursday, June 18 through Monday, June 22, 2015, with Ocean Galleries open daily from 10:00 AM through 10:00 PM. Special receptions with the Collection Curator, Lynne Clifford, will take place from 7:00 PM until 10:00 PM on Friday, June 19, and Saturday, June 20, and from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM on Sunday, June 21. All events are complimentary and open to the public. Ms. Yoko Ono Lennon, who created the program, had the specific intent of helping local non-profit organizations in each city the exhibit visits. As such, Ocean Galleries will be asking guests to make a $5 or more donation to the Community FoodBank of New Jersey.’

NJ Beer and Food Festival – June 20
The seventh annual NJ Beer & Food Festival takes place on Saturday June 20 with two events – the Brews & Birdies golf tournament and the BBQ & Brews Fest. BBQ & Brews showcases more than 120 beers from 40 breweries including many craft brews from New York and New Jersey paired with delicious barbeque in a picturesque outdoor setting (3pm-7pm, $75). Live band Phillbilly will play classic tunes and today’s hottest hits. Starting at 9am golfers will have the chance to take part in the Brews & Birdies golf tournament on the resort’s Wild Turkey golf course. Tastings of craft beers will be available on several holes of the course ($195 for golf and beer tastings, includes entry to Beer & BBQ Fest).

Tosho-Con – June 20
Join us at the East Orange Public Library from 10am-4pm on Saturday, June 20th, 2015 for our first anime and comic convention! There will be panels, special guests, screenings, cosplay, workshops, photo-ops, artist alley, vendors, raffles. Plus, an amazing assortment of vendors and exhibitors will be on hand to show their wares and demonstrate new products and services. Is there anything better than the smell of smoky barbecue? Maybe fermenting wine… But other than that we think not! On June 21st from 12pm to 5pm Bellview will be celebrating Dad with barbecue, music, cigars and of course, wine. JR’s Barbecue will be serving all our favorite barbecue entrees and sides, a la carte.
