ShadFest
April 25 & 26, 11 am – 5 pm
The Shad Festival has evolved from a local art show into a nationally recognized award-winning event. Shad Fest features the area’s finest artists and crafters, great food, and family entertainment, but the two-day extravaganza also serves as a venue for local non-profit organizations to raise necessary operating funds.

Stirling’s Annual Street Fair & Food Truck Fest
April 26, 10 am – 5 pm
Sponsored by the Long Hill Chamber of Commerce, this lively street festival transforms Main Avenue into a giant block party filled with shopping, food, entertainment, and family-friendly fun. Visitors can browse a wide variety of vendors and an arts and crafts section, explore offerings from local merchants and civic organizations, and enjoy live entertainment throughout the day including music, dancing, and demonstrations. Food lovers can indulge in classic festival favorites and gourmet food truck offerings while relaxing in the live music area. Families can also visit the Kidz Traveling Shindig, featuring bounce rides, slides, interactive inflatables, face painting, sand art, and games, making it a fun-filled day for all ages.

This event is hosted by the Borough of Elmwood Park and will be held on Market Street and the Recreation Field from 11 am-5 pm, rain or shine. The street will be closed to vehicle traffic during the event and will be transformed into a giant block party. If you like shopping then this is the place to be. They’ll have quality exhibitors selling a selection of assorted items, a special arts & crafts section, live entertainment, kiddie zone, great festival foods & food trucks, and so much more. Local organizations are welcome to join this community event.

Hosted by the Borough of Kenilworth, the Boulevard will be closed to vehicle traffic from 14th St. to 23rd St. and transformed into a giant block party from 10 am-4:00 pm. This event will feature quality exhibitors, a special crafter’s section, lots of great food, kiddie rides, a kids’ area, live music and performances, local merchants & civic organizations, and a large classic car show. The car show starts on the west end of the event at 14th Street. Shop along the Boulevard with over 100 quality exhibitors selling jewelry, handbags, sports collectibles, clothing, home decor, and more. There is a special section featuring handmade crafts from local and nearby crafters and artisans, with unique, one-of-a-kind items.

Collingswood May Fair
May 23, 10 am – 5 pm
What began in 1979 as a small “clothesline art exhibit” now encompasses more than a mile of the business district along Haddon Avenue. Multiple stages of live music will feature blues, rock, folk, and more. A schedule will be posted closer to the actual date of the event. An antique & classic auto show adds to the festival’s appeal. Visitors will also find several Food Courts complimenting the downtown restaurants and cafés. There will be everything from pulled pork to fancy desserts! May Fair also welcomes the return of the renowned Collingswood Farmers Market offering “Jersey Fresh” produce, flowers, and more sold in a delightful open-air atmosphere.

One of the biggest events of the year in West Orange, the Street Fair features local crafters, food from local vendors, street performers, a classic car show, beer and wine garden, a rock-climbing wall, free all-day admission to the Thomas Edison Museum and more. Proceeds from the Classic Car Show will benefit the Friends of Thomas Edison National Historical Park to further preserve the Edison legacy.

JC’s Annual Hasbrouck Heights Spring Fling Street Fair & Food Truck Fest

The Hasbrouck Heights Regional Chamber of Commerce is the sponsor of the borough’s most popular spring event, held annually along the Boulevard. The Boulevard will be closed to vehicle traffic from Raymond St to Washington Place and is open to the public from 10 am-5 pm. The fair features area merchants, and 100+ quality exhibitors, a special crafter’s section, lots of great food trucks and booths, a kids entertainment area, live music.The free concerts highlight popular cover bands at the main stage on Raymond St. There is a 2nd music area on Hamilton Ave. which showcases all local talent including karate schools, dance schools, and music schools on the local stage.

Garwood Rocks Street Fair
