Delaware Valley Bluegrass Festival
August 30 – September 1
This family music festival features southern Appalachian old-time and bluegrass and related music styles. For kids, there is also a Children’s Stage. The festival site has plenty of room for camping for tenters as well as RVers, and unlike many other festivals, they do not charge extra for camping. Weekend ticket holders may camp on the grounds at no charge, but camping is available only to weekend ticket holders – daily ticket holders may not bring vehicles or camping gear into the campground.

Fall Flower Festival & Craft Market
August 31 and September 1
The Fall Flower Festival & Craft Market will take place on Saturday, August 31, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Sunday, September 1, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. This event offers two full days of activities, including free informative lectures and presentations, tours of the spectacular gardens, and a craft market featuring a wide selection of curated vendors and food, brought in partnership with Marketspace Vendor Events. NJ Clearwater Festival

The NJ Friends of Clearwater Festival returns to Asbury Park for its 49th Annual event on Saturday, August 31, 2024 (1-8 pm) and Sunday, September 1, 2024 (noon-5 pm). This two-day, open-air music festival celebrates the collective effort to protect the environment, serving as a key networking hub in New Jersey for environmental ideas and initiatives. BBQ & Craft Beer Festival
August 31 – September 2
The annual BBQ & Craft Beer Festival returns to Monmouth Park this Labor Day weekend for three days of delicious BBQ and craft beer. Attendees can savor over 40 craft beers brewed in New Jersey and enjoy a variety of BBQ favorites, including ribs, pulled pork, and brisket. Food trucks will start serving around 11 am, and beer garden sampling tickets are available for $15, which includes 10 two-ounce samples. Sampling runs from 11:30 am to 5 pm, with ticket sales and check-in from 11:30 am to 4 pm; day-of ticket purchases are cash only. Live music will entertain from 12 to 4 pm each day, and on Saturday and Sunday, families can enjoy free activities such as clowns, face painting, pony rides, and a bounce house from 12 to 4 pm in the picnic area. Clifton Food and Music Festival

The Clifton Food and Music Festival will take place on Sunday, September 1, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The event will feature a variety of food trucks, live bands, a beer and wine garden, vendors, and a children’s fun zone. Admission is $5 per person, while children 36 inches and under can enter for free. Proceeds will benefit the Clifton Veterans Committee, supporting events like the Veterans Day Parade. Riverdale’s Annual Labor Day Street Fair hosted by the Borough of Riverdale will be held along the Newark Pompton Turnpike from Newbury Place to Cotluss Rd. from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. This annual event is held on Labor Day Monday. The street will be closed to vehicle traffic during the event and will be transformed into a giant block party. If you like shopping outdoors then this is the place to be. Caribbean Food Festival

On September 7th, Veterans Memorial Park in Parsippany will come alive with the sights, sounds, and flavors of the Caribbean at the 2024 Caribbean Food Fest. Attendees can indulge in Caribbean cuisine, enjoy live reggae music from Random Test Reggae Band, and browse offerings from local craft vendors. The event also features fun activities for the whole family, including a bounce house, kids’ ATV course, henna tattoos, and sand art, along with a free interactive kids’ zone. 33rd Annual Sailfest NJ is Saturday 9/7 in Island Heights along the beautiful Toms River hosted by Rotary of Toms River! This is a region-wide festival for families and everyone who loves boating, sailing, sailors, or anything nautical.

Wood Street Fair

Wood Street Fair is a much anticipated annual event which takes place in the midst of the Historic City of Burlington, New Jersey. 2024 Season Opening at Hill Creek Farms
September 13, 8 am to 5 pm
Hill Creek Farms kicks off the 2024 U-Pick season on September 13th with a lively, festival-style weekend featuring U-Pick fruits, vegetables, herbs, and sunflowers. Visitors can enjoy farm-to-table cuisine from Haddon Culinary, relax in the wine garden by Auburn Road Winery, and take part in live music and kids’ activities. U-Pick farming is open every Friday through Sunday throughout the season, with a $20 per vehicle admission fee on Saturdays and Sundays, which includes a hayride and a picking bag. On Fridays, there is no admission fee, and visitors simply pay for what they pick. Admission fees only apply to U-Pick activities on weekends; access to the Market, Bakery, Wine Garden, and Loft is always free.
