The Lunar Faire crew isn’t ready to say goodbye to spooky season just yet—and neither should you be! Embrace the magic on November 2nd at the 4th Annual Halloweekend Spectacle, a night market packed with wickedly fun extras. Fintastic Pumpkin Glow @ Adventure Aquarium

Get ready to explore the glow deep below this fall during Adventure Aquarium’s Fintastic Pumpkin Glow festival, September 19 through November 3. During the fall festivities, guests can discover a mesmerizing collection of glowing gourds in every shape, size, and species shining above the surface or illuminating the depths among sharks, stingrays, and other unique aquatic life. NEW to this year’s festival is a nearly 10-foot underwater octopus shaped out of pumpkins and a snorkeling Scarecrow tasked with keeping watch over the Aquarium’s underwater pumpkin patch. In addition to the fall-themed sights, guests can check out the Aquarium’s seasonal sensory tables, which feature pumpkin slime and other hands-on sensory experiences—all included with admission. For an extra special experience, guests can pay $5 to paint and take home their own pumpkin masterpiece. The Aquarium’s gift shop will also be selling various pumpkin-themed souvenirs. Visitors looking to learn more about ocean life can deepen their aquatic knowledge by tuning into the Aquarium’s “What Goes Bump in the Midnight Zone” show. This show demystifies the animals living in the dark depths of the ocean’s Midnight Zone.

Argos Farms Fall Festival

2024 Season at Hill Creek Farms

Healthy HeARTS Festival
November 2, 10 am – 1 pm

This FREE family-friendly festival is a celebration of arts and wellness for the South Jersey community. All are welcome to join us for live music by local musicians on the Grove Stage; crafters of handmade goods; food trucks; locally crafted wine, beer and spirits; wellness demonstrations; and art-making activities for the whole family. At 10am, visitors can participate in a fundraiser 5k race and 1 mile walk on and around Appel Farm’s beautiful campus. Pre-registration is required for the fundraiser 5k/1mile walk. All proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit Appel Farm’s arts programming throughout South Jersey.

Swedish Christmas Fair

The Swedish Christmas Fair offers something for everyone, featuring a fantastic selection of food items, crafts, and gifts. Shoppers can find traditional Swedish handicrafts such as handmade Christmas decorations, linen, wooden items, and a variety of cheeses, herring, and other Swedish delicacies, along with freshly baked goods like bread, cookies, and cakes. Holiday Light Show at Historic Smithville
Begins November 28. Every Day until January 5, 2025.

Experience the magic as over 100 Christmas trees appear to float on Lake Meone, lighting up in sync with music for a mesmerizing show of lights and sound. This orchestrated holiday spectacle runs Thursday through Sunday from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., beginning November 28 through January 5. Historic Smithville also offers 50 unique shops, 7 dining options, a carousel, a train ride, cozy lodging at the Colonial Inn, and over 26 free weekend events. The show starts at dark and continues until 8:30 p.m.

Polar Express

Set to the sounds of the motion picture soundtrack, passengers will relive the magic of the classic story as they are whisked away on THE POLAR EXPRESS™ for a magical hour and a half trip to meet Santa. Winter WonderLights, New Jersey’s largest animated holiday light show, returns for the 2024 season with an even more spectacular experience, starting November 29 at the Middlesex County Fairgrounds in East Brunswick. This year’s show promises expanded holiday magic, complete with new features and returning favorites. Guests can enjoy the festivities from the warmth of their own vehicles, tuning in to a synchronized radio station to experience festive music alongside stunning light displays as they drive through the animated winter wonderland. Notable additions for 2024 include a larger park area, two new light tunnels—bringing the total to six immersive tunnels—and bigger, brighter displays.

Collingswood Holiday Parade

The 2024 Collingswood Holiday Parade will return to Haddon Avenue on Saturday, November 30, starting at 10 a.m. Recognized as the Best Main Street Experience by South Jersey Magazine, the parade will feature vibrant seasonal entertainment, including marching bands, dancers, holiday characters, stilt-walking giants, floats, mummers, mascots, and live music. It will kick off at Zane Avenue and proceed to West Linden Avenue, passing through the heart of historic Collingswood.

Dickens Festival

Riddlesbrood Touring Theatre Company returns to Historic Smithville with the Spirit of Christmas, presenting a two-day outdoor “Dickens Fest” featuring an original musical adaptation of A Christmas Carol. This rendition of Charles Dickens’ classic tale follows Ebenezer Scrooge’s journey from greed to redemption, bringing audiences along as he encounters the Ghosts of Christmas and transforms into a joyful Father Christmas.
