The famous Clam Fest is a two-day spectacular event, a wide variety of food trucks, along with other festival favorites including the Lions Club Funnel Cakes, and the Highlands Fire Department BBQ tent. This event features beers from local breweries, food trucks, live music, craft vendors and activities for children. Two tasting sessions: 12:00pm-4:00pm and 5:00pm-9:00pm.

BBQ & Craft Beer Festival

The annual BBQ & Craft Beer Festival returns to Monmouth Park this Labor Day weekend for three days of delicious BBQ and craft beer. Attendees can savor over 40 craft beers brewed in New Jersey and enjoy a variety of BBQ favorites, including ribs, pulled pork, and brisket. Food trucks will start serving around 11 am, and beer garden sampling tickets are available for $15, which includes 10 two-ounce samples. Sampling runs from 11:30 am to 5 pm, with ticket sales and check-in from 11:30 am to 4 pm; day-of ticket purchases are cash only. Live music will entertain from 12 to 4 pm each day, and on Saturday and Sunday, families can enjoy free activities such as clowns, face painting, pony rides, and a bounce house from 12 to 4 pm in the picnic area.
