Easter EGGspress at DiDonato’s Family Fun Center
Now – March 30

Head to DiDonato’s for Easter fun! Meet with the Easter Bunny, hunt for eggs, and more. Inflatable 40’ obstacle course! Enjoy endless play, climbing, imagination-building, and fun on their custom-made, interactive train.

Newark St. Patrick’s Day Parade
March 15, 1 pm

this is the 84th year the annual Newark parade will be held! The parade will begin promptly at 1:00 pm, Proceeding from the Prudential Center to Gateway Center, NJPAC, Military Park, St. Patrick’s Pro-Cathedral, and Washington Park . The parade is part of a larger Irish celebration in Newark that includes an Irish Heritage Week.

NJ Makers Day Weekend
March 15 – 17

New Jersey Makers Day is a celebration of maker culture across the Garden State. This all-ages event connects individuals with libraries, schools, businesses, and independent makerspaces that support making, tinkering, crafting, manufacturing, and STEM-based learning. Learn more: njmakersday.org

Egg Hunt Hayrides
March 15 – March 30

Families joining the Egg Hunt at the farm will enjoy a wagon ride around the fields and orchards, observing the arrival of spring. The ride will pause at the Egg Hunt location, where participants will hear a brief story about how all of Peter Rabbit’s eggs ended up in the field. After the story, Egg Hunters will explore the beautifully decorated egg hunt area, collecting eggs along the way—a perfect moment for photos! Afterward, they can trade in their eggs for a delightful goodie bag. To cap off the experience, participants can visit Peter Rabbit at the Farm Market.

Celebrate Spring: A Shopping Extravaganza!
March 16, 10 am – 4 pm

Attendees can explore a wide array of gifts perfect for Easter, Mother’s Day, and beyond while showing support for local businesses. With over 50 vendors participating, there will be something for everyone to enjoy. Admission is free, and guests can also participate in a 50/50 raffle hosted by St. Jude. Additionally, food will be available for purchase, with proceeds also benefiting St. Jude.

Easter Bunny “Go Bananas” Event
March 16, 10:30 am – 1 pm

MarketFair invites families to celebrate the arrival of the Easter Bunny and the onset of spring with a free “Despicable Me” themed event, inspired by the upcoming summer movie release. Attendees can enjoy a variety of activities, including a meet and greet with Minion characters, thrilling rides on the roller coaster simulator, live music and trivia hosted by Danielle & Jennifer, face painting, balloon sculpting, and crafts. All activities are free, with the option to purchase photos with the Easter Bunny.

A festive parade will begin at noon and proceeds north on Atlantic Avenue to Olde NJ Avenue. Participants include, NWPD Honor Guard, VFW Color Guard, Vietnam Veterans of America, Ancient Order of Hibernians, Irish Pipe Brigade, Emerald Society, Miss North Wildwood Annika Marks, Anglesea Irish Society, Second Street Irish Society, Sheriff Mounted Patrol, local school bands, and much more. Annual Sea Isle City St. Patrick’s Day Parade

The parade starts at 3:30pm up at 84th East Landis Ave and ends at Kix-McNutley’s, 63rd St.

Uncorked: NJ Wine Fest
March 16, 7 pm – 11 pm

Sip and savor over 100 wines & bubblies from across the globe + some “outside the bottle” beverages (like seltzers and canned cocktails), food vendors, exclusive after hours access to the full museum, interactive exhibits and more! There are two sessions for this event. Early admission ($90) is at 7pm and includes an extra hour of tasting with smaller capacity plus some bonus wines poured by select wineries during that first hour. General admission ($75) is at 8pm and the event ends at 11pm. Both tickets include all your wine tasting and full access to the museum with food sold separately.

Casino Pier & Breakwater Beach Easter Bunny and Spring Events

As spring approaches, Casino Pier & Breakwater Beach are gearing up for a series of events. These include the Bubble Zone with OMG Bubbles on March 16 and 24, a Petting Zoo on March 23 and 30, and Photos with the Easter Bunny on March 24 and 31. Additionally, the Spring Magic Show featuring Steve Woyce is scheduled for March 30, with a Princess Sing-A-Long event on March 31.

Easter Bunny Express

Escape the confines of home and embark on the annual Easter Bunny Express event, featuring a train ride and egg hunt! In 2024, enjoy a round-trip journey from Flemington to Ringoes, where kids can partake in an egg hunt at the picnic grove (weather permitting). Meet Peter Cottontail aboard the train for a quick photo opportunity. Rain or shine, the event promises fun for all, with onboard egg distribution in case of inclement weather. Choose from various ticket options, including Coach Class, Premium Coach with reserved seating, First Class with food and beverage service, or even reserve a private caboose or coach for larger groups. Easter Bunny Express

Hop aboard the Woodstown Central for the Easter Bunny Express! Passengers can celebrate the holiday with friends and family on a springtime excursion. The beautifully decorated vintage train offers a relaxing ride through changing countryside. During the journey, the Easter Bunny will meet with every child aboard the train. The route takes you through the blossoming forests and fertile farmland of historic Salem County, ending at the Easter Bunny’s home at Fenwick Grove. There, passengers can disembark for an egg hunt, with 30 minutes to enjoy the scenic creekside views before returning home on the train. Don’t miss this enchanting springtime journey!

Easter in Historic Smithville
March 16 & 17 and 30 & 31

At Smithville, they go all out for Easter celebrations and would love for you to join! Throughout March, guests can enjoy breakfast with the Easter Bunny, participate in the Easter Parade, and follow the Village Greene Easter Bunny on Facebook to see his adventures. The Easter Parade, on March 31, promises excitement with awards for the best outfits. Don your Easter best and join the stylish stroll through the Village, starting at the Smithville Inn.

The Annual Spring Red Bank Egg Hunt
March 17, 11 am

Don’t forget your cameras for a chance to meet the Easter Bunny in Red Bank! This egg hunt is a delightful experience for kids of every age, and the whole family is sure to have a great time. Be sure to come early to meet the Easter Bunny before the hunt begins. Rain date is March 24th.

Freehold Borough Arts Council’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade
March 17, 12:30 pm

The parade path runs down Main Street and ends at Freehold Elks Lodge 1454 Point. The parade route this year is packed with tons of fun and Irish tradition, as participants will march from McLean Street to the Elk’s Lodge. After party to follow.

Bayonne St Patrick’s Day Parade
March 17, 1 pm

Beginning at 1pm, the parade will begin on Broadway and 5th Street, proceeding north to 39th Street where the parade turn west to Avenue C and end at the entrance of Stephen R. Gregg/Bayonne County Park.

South Amboy St. Patrick’s Day Parade
March 17, 2 pm

Marchers will line up on South Pine Avenue starting at noon. The parade then takes the following route: Head North on S. Pine St, Turn Right onto Bordentown Avenue, Turn Left onto South Stevens, Turn Right on 2nd Street, Turn Right on Broadway, and ends on Broadway at the reviewing stage.

Murder Mystery Dinner at Four Sisters Winery
March 17, 1 pm – 4 pm

Mysterious Happenings at Four Sisters Winery. It’s a Murder at the winery! Who knows the details? Guests have assembled and the celebration begins. The jubilant celebration comes to a halt when one of the characters mysteriously dies! Who’s the victim? An enchanted, fun-filled afternoon accompanied with a delicious lunch of Chicken Parmigiana, pasta, salad, bread & dessert is just the beginning. Beginning with a formal wine tasting, attendees receive insight to the S’s of wine tasting sampling a selection of red and white wines. Following the wine tasting, dinner will be served concluding with dessert and dessert wine. Characters are selected and the mysterious plot of the evening begins. Dinner guests partake in an interactive story-line adding some spice to their character description. As the plot thickens and unravels with twists and turns participants seek to unveil who’s the culprit of the crime! Once the murder is solved, awards will be given for Best Actor and Best Actress. The cost is $50 per person and includes tax, and a wine glass.
